Flight Club [Flight Shed]

It was the last club meeting of the semester. And probably of Gavin's time here. He wasn't sentimental. Really. Instead, he made sure to bring a lot of snacks and drinks for the club members to eat and drink.

"Welcome back," he greeted, nodding. "This our last meeting of the semester so I thought I'd let you guys do what you'd like. Fly the sim, talk, study, whatever. It's been fun and I thank you all for coming out and learning with me. I probably won't see you back here when the club starts up again so I wish you luck and be safe. And those who will still be around, don't let this club go away. It's a mainstay."

Or something.

"Anyway. Have some food, go flying, relax. Thanks again."

"Welcome to your last class," Nathan said. "Today's the final. If you've been paying attention you should find it easy. You can leave once you're done, though I wouldn't advocate rushing through it just for that. If you have any questions, I'm here."

Sam had managed to wake up before his alarm for once, and when he couldn't go back to sleep, he got up and just started his day early. He got to the library with plenty of time to spare, even with the coffee and muffin he'd stopped to get on the way.

Heroing [Period 2, Class 14, Tuesday]

Today, the Danger Shop was set up with an elaborate, dirty cityscape. "GOOD MORNING, CLASS!" Hammer boomed. "Welcome to your final. Your job, today, should you choose to accept it" -- that's not the quote, Hammer, but nice try -- "is to rescue a damsel in distress!"

He held up a rather unrealistic looking blow-up doll. Yes, even in the Danger Shop, Hammer hadn't gotten realistic people simulations. One could argue that he didn't want them to risk messing up with real people, but the truth was that he had messed up the programming. The class should feel lucky to even have this much put together.

"You can use anything at your disposal -- gadgets," he said, gesturing to the table of totes moddable gadgets on a table before them, "vehicles," and he pointed to the...motley assortment of vehicles nearby, "or simply your physical skills." He flexed, in case they didn't get that.

"Your damsel is up there." Captain Hammer pointed up several stories of a building about a hundred yards away, where students might observe a blow-up doll hanging out a window. "If you take longer than two minutes, the room will catch on fire, too. Have fun!"

"Good morning," Mohinder said, from the front of classroom. It was set up with the usual array of desks and chairs.

"Today's your last class. So, this is where I test that you've absorbed something from this time together. You should answer all the questions, and - if you have time, you may leave early. It's been an interesting experience teaching you," he finished.

"You can start now."
