Anthropomorphic Anatomy, Period 3, 22 Apr '09

"Good morning," Mohinder said, from the front of classroom. It was set up with the usual array of desks and chairs.

"Today's your last class. So, this is where I test that you've absorbed something from this time together. You should answer all the questions, and - if you have time, you may leave early. It's been an interesting experience teaching you," he finished.

"You can start now."

Ender wrote. And wrote. It didn't take him that much effort, considering, but thinking of Valentine meant that the third question brought him some fun as well as work. He spent some time on it, then moved on past the physical into the bit on evolution.

There, he wrote what could only be described as a small book, lapsing as much into his own theories on adaptation as the subject at hand.

All in all, Ender kind of enjoyed the process. As far as tests went, this one was downright relaxing.

While his scribblings probably didn't match the epicness of Ender's over there, Cal had done quite a bit of writing himself. Buried beneath all his his expertly elaborate tangents were the right answers, for the most part, give or take a few. Cal was just so worried that they were wrong that he put a lot of comfortable fluffer around them, as if that would help disguise the fact that some of it was wrong.

Liz handwavily did the exam, doing well enough to pass.

1. Sokka made something up off the top of his head, and managed to get the answer exactly right.

2. He labeled ALL the drawings, for the most part correctly. Except the muscular diagram -- that one was disturbingly labeled with cuts of meat instead of the names of muscles.

3. He composed pretty nifty mnemonics for the senses and cranial bones. That RHYMED.

4. Unsurprisingly, Sokka's lung capacity and heart rate were far above average.

5. Thanks to television, Sokka knew that life in deep ocean trenches 1) was REALLY freaky looking, and 2) glowed in the dark. He bullshitted some reasons why those might be true, and added some thoughts about it needing to be able to survive the tremendous amounts of pressure at that depth.

And then he drew a really bad drawing of an angler fish getting the bends.

Cal had...for a brief moment...considered it.

Very brief. He might not get the best grade in this class, but he wasn't that hard up for Extra Credit.

Sokka composed and sang a loud, rocking song about the food chain and its circular nature, which he titled "I Eat Everything, And Nothing Eats Me But The Worms (And My Girlfriend)"

Booyah.
