For as much as she complained about the cold, Buffy was beyond happy to look out her window this morning and see snow. It was just so pretty, and she didn't get to see a lot of it that wasn't even manufactured, or on TV. And the TV snow was bubbles anyway. Yeah, that's right. Bubbles.

And then by the time she got to the library, her hair coated in powdered sugar, she kind of thought maybe they were on to something with the bubbles.

The class had been ever-so-handwavily asked to gather in an all-purpose room for the day, and when they got there they'd find collapsed tables, collapsed folding chairs, and other moddable science fair supplies, as well as thick binders containing notes from all the semester's experiments.

"Hey," Tyler greeted. "So this is the deal, since I believe in giving you choices. You can either spend class today helping me set up for the science fair or setting up your own experiment, or you can go over the class notes from the term to study for the final next week. Which, by the way, will be a real test. Or you can combine things -- work with me and ask me questions about the final. Or you can just sign in, take off, and find something better to do."

He waved a hand at the students. "Whatever you're doing, go for it."

The Danger Shop gymnasium was empty today, save a large red line taped down the middle of the floor with a plush ball sitting at the center. Ronon walked over and picked up the ball to toss it around while he lectured.

"Dodgeball. You saw the movie, now you're playing the game, minus the wrenches. For those who don't remember, this is the game where if you get hit with the ball, you're out. If you throw the ball at someone and they catch it, you're out. The goal is to not to be out." And he really didn't think this should be that difficult for any of them, making for an entertaining match.

"So, get a uniform, and join your team behind the line."

After lunch, the area was transformed into a classic science fair. There was plenty of room for experiments to be set up, a ballot box to vote for the best among them, and, just in case, several fire extinguishers not-so-discreetly stowed within easy grabbing distance.

Because this was an all-school event, Tyler had also procured some chips, soda and other snacks, and set them up at a distance from the experiments. No good would come of mixing up salt and saltpeter, after all.

Nathan had Chinese food set out for their lunch.

"Finals are coming up," Nathan said. "In the past Student Council has had a coffee bar set up in the common rooms on each night of finals. We'll need signups for doing the post setting that up. A party of some kind on the last night of finals might also be nice. I leave that up to you to decide."

There was a note on the door of the Danger Shop directing the students to follow the marked path to a clearing where the Doctor was waiting. A hole had been dug and a small marker placed. A container that could have been made of plastic, but was probably made of something much stronger and technologically advanced, sat in the hole.

"So!" the Doctor said once the class was gathered together. "Last class. No final next Friday. You'll find out for yourselves soon enough if you've learned anything from the past thirteen weeks. I hope you have. In a place like this, you'll need all the practical experience you can get. Try not to alter the timeline too badly. Messy business. Not very fun at all, trust me.

If you all paid attention to the notes I sent you, then you'll have brought something to add to our time capsule. One at a time, come forward, explain what you brought and why you think it should go in the capsule, then put it in."
