Phys Ed: Week 13, Period 2 (Fri. 12/12)

The Danger Shop gymnasium was empty today, save a large red line taped down the middle of the floor with a plush ball sitting at the center. Ronon walked over and picked up the ball to toss it around while he lectured.

"Dodgeball. You saw the movie, now you're playing the game, minus the wrenches. For those who don't remember, this is the game where if you get hit with the ball, you're out. If you throw the ball at someone and they catch it, you're out. The goal is to not to be out." And he really didn't think this should be that difficult for any of them, making for an entertaining match.

"So, get a uniform, and join your team behind the line."

Since he had to be on a team and all, Rodney actually put on his uniform. He did not want to be singled out on Dodgeball Day.

Dick didn't rush to get into uniform. But he got into it in his own time.

Granted, his own time for changing into clothes for action-based activities was incredibly fast. But that was second nature by now and was by no means 'quickly' in relative terms for him.

Like in life, she played dirty. What? Ronon hadn't said they couldn't! Yeah, she was the kid everybody hated in dodgeball.

Sokka bounced the ball once, grinned, and winged it off to the side. The ball made a wide arc and flew in at the other team from what was, hopefully, a completely unexpected direction.

Turtle was quietly hoping that no one did the math to figure out who this Tabitha-Ruth persona was, hum hum hum.

Of course, Turtle also didn't realize that probably no one cared nearly as much as she did.

Either way, she actually kicked her ball toward the other side, knowing she'd be better at that than throwing and not thinking it was really against the rules or anything, was it?

Robin was not the strongest thrower, but he was a tiny, quick moving target. He was good at the dodging part of dodgeball.

Dick restrained himself a bit today. No acrobatics, nothing too fancy. Just feet-on-the-floor, good old-fashioned dodgeball from a guy who knew how to throw things at people.
