Tyler seemed impatient as the students filed in today. No, not impatient; wary and watchful. Like he was waiting for something.

"Morning," he told the students as they gathered. "I know you're all anxious to either see or find a hiding place way away from your assorted parental figures, so I'll keep my lecture on the short side today.

"I trust you all put together your midterm experiments and are rarin' to present them. You have 15 minutes to set up, then I'll walk around and ask you questions. The exhibits will stay up for the weekend if you want to show them off, and I'll be in my office" -- as much as he could get away with -- "this afternoon and Saturday."

He gave a tiny smile. "If any of you don't want me to talk to your visitors, I accept bribes if they're good enough."

The Danger Shop was again resembling a movie theater when students arrived this week. Ronon was waiting along with a large bin of real popcorn.

"I hear your people are coming to town. I'm gonna help you prepare by showing a movie about avoiding being hit with wrenches called Fast Balls, Slow Men. After, I want you to write about how you can apply what you've seen to dealing with your parents, relatives, and friends this weekend."

He gestured to the popcorn. "Popcorn costs five laps around the theater perimeter. Don't think I'm not counting, McKay."

"Welcome back!" the Doctor said as he met the students in the Danger Shop. This week, it looked like a dockside. "Glad to see you're all in one piece. Well, more or less. Good work on not getting killed in Japan during the last class. I know you have parents and guardians and all those people you'd rather be avoiding coming soon, so let's keep this one short so you can , shall we?

Welcome to Boston, Massachusetts. 1773 is the year, the Boston Tea Party is the event. For those of you unfamiliar with American history, this tea party is not all Earl Grey and scones. This is the day when the American colonists decided that a little mayhem and destruction was in order to prove a point about being taxed like mad to the British government, who were in charge of the America colonies at the time. Crates of tea were thrown into the harbour or destroyed, which is a complete waste of good tea if you ask me, and this is one of the major events that sparked the American Revolution or American War of Independence, leading to the formation of the United States of America as an independent nation.

There's the background. You're on your own from here. You could help the colonists, help the soldiers or go and get a doughnut from the bakery in town. Not the holographic Boston, the real town. If you do go, I'd like a Danish. Something with fruit."
