"Welcome back," Edward said when the students were seated. "Today we will be discussing the anatomy of the reproductive system. A few things first, though."

"We're dealing with some very personal subjects in this class. If you need to discuss something that you aren't comfortable bringing up in front of the other students, you can always talk to one of the teaching assistants." He turned his golden eyes to Marco and Joan. "Will you please stand up?" He turned back to the rest of the class. "Marco and Joan have volunteered to help us out. Please let them know if there's anything you need."

"In addition, Jennifer Sparks has informed me that she knows nearly everything there is to know about sex, so if you have any factual questions and I'm not available, I'm sure she'd be happy to help you out."

And now, on to anatomy. )

In class today there were two piles of ingrediants ready to be used. A choice if you will.

Good and evil. Healthy and unhealthy. Black and white. Model and normal pretty girl.

...He was running out of comparisons.

"Good morning wee ones!" Deadpool said, looking out at the class. "Today we begin our very first dish! And since, I guess I'm supposed to 'teach you good eating habits'--seriously, who do they think I am? Weight Watchers? Ha!--you'll split into groups of two and get to choose which salad you want to make."

He pointed to a rather large pile of moddable candy. "Unhealthy?" And then swung his hand over toward the pile of also moddable vegetables. "Or healthy? The choice is yours to make. Choose wisely!"

Deadpool snapped and pointed at the class. "Get to work! And so help me, I'll assign you to teams next week if you don't do this well."

No word on what 'well' meant, but... best to just go with it.

Karal arrived at the library with a purpose this morning. He had a class...very soon, actually, but there was time to find a book.

An important book, considering he had no idea what physics was and it seemed to be an integral part of the aforementioned class.

The book was easily found but, sadly, not so easily read. The moment he checked it out, it transformed into a kitten and a box. With a single inscrutable look, the kitten climbed into the box, pulled the lid shut behind it and, as far as Karal could tell, ceased to exist.

"...what?"

Altra rolled his eyes, sniffed, and replied, :I have no idea.:

He thought about opening the box, just to see if the kitten was all right, but sensed that this might be a bad idea.

[ooc: Kitten books YAY!]

Mohinder was playing with the globe on his desk as class assembled. Still no sign of the island; he gave it a push, leaving it spinning as he spoke.

"This is a fairly accurate representation of the planet on which we're standing. A few hundred million years after we have reason to think it looked like this." The globe swirled, continents reforming in a mass. "Continental drift isn't an accuracy concern in modern cartography, which has now a fairly precise view of our world. It looks like this, like this, and also like this,"said Mohinder, showing the various projections.

"All too often a map is a political as well as practical tools; the orientation and centring on a particular country or continent, or what language the cities and rivers are named. And of course there's the functional aspects - political geography may change borders to omit a disputed state, physical geography disregards routes and cities, or a nautical chart distorts land masses in favour of latitude and longitude."

"Is an accurate and apolitical even possible?" asked Mohinder. "What would should be included to define your world and your country; and how much would it mean to a stranger?" He gestured to the equipment laid on the desks. "Start your charts."

"In last week's class gave us a snapshot of what we'll be covering over the rest of the semester," Nathan said as he passed around the day's handouts. "Good leaders are not mindless leaders. They are leaders who look at the angles and ask the basic questions. Should they be in charge? Why? How?

"Today we're going to start on the how." Nathan moved back to his desk. "As you can see in your handouts, there are different kinds of leadership styles. Some of you showed the styles that you're more comfortable with last week. In today's class I'd like you to pair up and embody these styles. Pick at least one each, and use those styles on each other. The leadership challenge that you're facing is whether or not there should be coffee available for next week's class. Doesn't matter what position you pick. Just use that leadership style to come to a decision and try to implement it.

"Two announcements before you get started," Nathan added. "First, Meg is going to be the TA for this class so if you need any help in that area talk to her. Second, Student Council Elections are coming up. As you can imagine that's pretty closely tied to what we're working on in class. So if anyone here tries out for Student Council, I will give you extra credit." Nathan grinned. "It's not a requirement that you win, only that you try. I have forms up here if anyone needs them."

When the students came into the Danger Shop, it was set up to look like a martial arts dojo, complete with mats on the floors and mirrors on the walls.

Good afternoon, class, )
