Karaoke for Fun and Profit, Monday [Period 4]
Monday, July 28th, 2008 12:47 amTroy stood up at the front of the 'classroom', the Danger Shop once again looking like a karaoke bar. The decorations were perhaps a bit different than normal, though, with posters for Broadway shows such as Boulevard Z and Wretched. "Uh, hi, everyone," Troy said. "Mike can't be here this week, so I guess I'm teaching the class. I figured we could do showtunes this week.
"I love musicals a lot; there's a lot you can learn from them, or they can be a really good escape. So, uh, here's a song from one of my favorite shows." Troy took up the microphone and sang his song. After he was finished, he smiled. "So, yeah," he said. "Showtunes! Go ahead and have some fun with them." At which point he relinquished the microphone to the closest student and went to the bar, really wishing it served real alcohol.

Deadpool had a couture gown in the classroom today. Through a series of odd events and three phone calls to a very confused man named Weasel... he managed to grab one. It was probably for the best of all involved not to think to hard on the matter.
It was for the kids.
"So! Haute couture! That crazy style that nothing seems to make sense, but it's still all purdy anyway. Today, you kids are gonna come up with a couture dress-- yes dress-- because I'm fuzzy on the existence of couture for men."
Which just made him think of The Limited for Men, only more gay.
"So, partner off and get crackin'! Use this lovely... dress as an example!"

Library [07/28]
Monday, July 28th, 2008 09:31 amSam was still thinking about Destiny and Free Will class as he headed to the library. There were times that class really made him wonder if he was worrying enough about the future, and today was no exception. He was so caught up in thinking, he'd even forgotten to get coffee before starting his day.

Relationships: How To Do It The Right Way - Monday - Period Three
Monday, July 28th, 2008 10:38 am“So you’ve guys survived first dates, first kisses and are now in an established relationship. Yay!” Marshall said, clapping his hands together. “You now have a person to share everything with and spend every waking moment with. Okay, maybe not every waking moment, cause you don’t see Lily in here right now, but close.”
“Part of your responsibilities when you get into a relationship is integrating your girl or boyfriend in with your friends or family. Mixing your friends with your significant other shouldn’t be too hard. After all, you and your friends have stuff in common and you and your girl/boyfriend have stuff in common. The logical assumption would be that your friends and your boy/girlfriend would have stuff in common,” Marshall said. “Easy. My wife and I have all the same friends. Except for Brad. But he and I have a weird relationship…”
Marshall coughed. “Anyways. Family is not as easy. Your friends are protective but your family is super, super protective. And your family is also more likely to tell embarrassing stories and break out pictures of you. No, they don’t really hate you. They just care in a mean fashion.”
“And it’s just as nerve-wracking when you meet someone else’s parents for the first time. The most important thing to do in that situation is relax and be yourself. The first few times you meet your significant other’s parents you should treat them like you would treat your boss,” he said. “Be polite but be interesting. If they make a mean comment to you just pretend to ignore because you don’t want to get fired. And no sex stories.”
“So today we’re going to watch a movie about somebody meeting someone’s parents for the first time. This is pretty much a “what not to do” video,” he said. “Have fun!”

Under the school, late Sunday Night,
Monday, July 28th, 2008 12:35 pmThe Island had had quite enough of pirates. And robots. And really, it could only be a matter of time until there were robot pirates, so late Sunday night, with the air of one who had had quite enough of this moving malarkey, the machine rumbled into life, the island blinked out of existence...
...and then reappeared on the other side of the world, settling comfortably into Moreton Bay, the causeway leading to Amity Point on North Stradbroke island.
Welcome to Australia! Guaranteed to be one hundred percent pirate free.
