The Island had had quite enough of pirates. And robots. And really, it could only be a matter of time until there were robot pirates, so late Sunday night, with the air of one who had had quite enough of this moving malarkey, the machine rumbled into life, the island blinked out of existence...

...and then reappeared on the other side of the world, settling comfortably into Moreton Bay, the causeway leading to Amity Point on North Stradbroke island.
