"Good afternoon, class," Vala hid a yawn behind her hand. People might notice she was suspiciously tanned, but there was no other way a student would be able to tell she hadn't spent the weekend in Fandom. "I had an activity planned for today, but I had a little trouble getting back through Customs something came up instead, so we'll do that next week instead."

"This week, we'll discuss whether it is necessary to have a national language."

"So? What do you think? Do you think it makes a difference depending on what kind of government you have? How do you decide which language gets chosen?"

"Discuss amongst yourselves, or I'll be here after 9 pm EDT if you want."

Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 12

This week, the classroom looked pretty much just as it had last week. The three strange inventions were setting at the front, but this time there were notes underneath them to clarify what the did.

Apparently, it wasn't obvious.

"Last week, I had you all name these inventions," Glitch said from his spot behind his desk. "This week, you'll be naming them again, only you'll be using acronyms. There's a minimum of three words."

He thought about that for a second.

"No, make that five. Extra credit if you can make the initials spell an actual word."

Ghanima appeared rather cheerful this morning, one might almost say the Princess Royal was giddy.

Almost.  This was, however, Ghanima, and she effortlessly slipped into her role as teacher once the class was assembled.

"Welcome back, I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend," she teased, blue-on-blue eyes flaring with amusement.  "I was called out of town for the majority of the weekend, and didn't get to experience the joy of witnessing your second childhoods.  If anyone has pictures of the event, I would love to see them."

As soon as Sam woke up, he started remembering what had happened over the weekend, and groaned. He couldn't remember doing anything too embarrassing, aside from having a very weird conversation with Zoe, but that didn't stop him from heading straight for the library in the hope of finding things to distract him during work.

There was a movie already set up in class today. And a teacher who was flopped over on his desk and curing all weetiny children.

"Uncle Deadpool still has a headache from yesterday, so we're watching a movie today, kiddos. Enjoy!"

The original Decease Difficult movie started to play without any sort of pomp or ceremony.

It was not a good day for Deadpool.

"I'm sure you're all familiar with the Beatitudes," Biff said, looking at his class while they assembled around giant tables filled with all kinds of fruit and rolls of plastic wrap. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, the peacemakers, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness…" He made a "blah, blah, blah" gesture with his hand. "I was there when we were writing that up and I'm telling you that a few groups got left off the list."
