Glitch was at the front of the class, looking a great deal more balanced than he had been last week. Each desk had the usual tools and a few extra modable supplies.

"I hope you all remembered to bring something in today to fix. If you brought something of your own, go ahead and trade it with someone else. Or, I guess if you forgot to bring anything in, team up with someone else. All you have to do today is repair the item and add one feature to it that would be useful to the other person."

He smiled, then looked down at his notes for a second.

"Oh, if you didn't have a design for me to look over last week, try to come by my office tomorrow, if you can."

With that, he sat down and let the class get to work.

Jean-Paul paced before the board as he spoke. "Let us talk a bit about savings. Financial experts agree you should have an emergency fund in case of, well, emergencies: unexpected expenses, sudden unemployment, et cetera. A trip to Cabo is not an emergency, let us just get that out of the way right now. There is some disagreement on how much one should have in this fund, but generally opinion ranges from three months' income to eight. One thing most financial experts will not explain to you, however, is how the hell you are supposed to put back three to eight months' income quickly when there are bills to pay and, most likely, debt to consider and non-emergency items like trips to Cabo to save for. How would you go about doing so? Discuss."

As soon as Sam came in to open the library, he was struck with the sudden need to organize things. Giving in to the urge seemed easier than ignoring it, and luckily, he had plenty of coffee to get him through the task.

Ghanima was perched, as usual, on the front of her desk as the students trailed into class.  "Good morning students, happy Monday.  Don't look quite so paranoid, there's no acting today, you're all safe from my mad whims.  Mostly.  Instead, today we are studying a Trickster that far outstrips any prank I could pull, Anansi."

"Most cultures that have Anansi myths also have the story of how Anansi became King of All Stories, not just his own.  On your desks, you have a handout retelling how Anansi became the God of all Stories, wining that title from his father.  Please read it over, and we will discuss."

[OOC:  Please wait for the ever-tricksy OCD to go up!  Enjoy!]

Biff was wearing saffron-colored robes and sitting in the center of the floor.

...the middle of the ground.

Okay, so they were in a cave. And it was cold. Really, really cold.

"Today, we meditate," Biff said, not opening his eyes. "When you sit, sit. When you breathe, breathe. When you snore, I will mock you. The essence of Buddhism is 'vast emptiness.'" He cracked open an eyelid. "And not 'vast amphibians,' as my teacher once said. His Chinese needed work. Today you concentrate on being in the moment." He shrugged. "Or falling asleep sitting up. I did both."
