Biff was wearing saffron-colored robes and sitting in the center of the floor.

...the middle of the ground.

Okay, so they were in a cave. And it was cold. Really, really cold.

"Today, we meditate," Biff said, not opening his eyes. "When you sit, sit. When you breathe, breathe. When you snore, I will mock you. The essence of Buddhism is 'vast emptiness.'" He cracked open an eyelid. "And not 'vast amphibians,' as my teacher once said. His Chinese needed work. Today you concentrate on being in the moment." He shrugged. "Or falling asleep sitting up. I did both."

Rikku stretched out, carefully, and then closed her eyes.

Cable had taken her through the process of meditation before, finding the lights within the darkness and making the shapes, letting them go.

Her worries about Deadpool and the park and the vague unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach were fading as she found a rhythm to her breathing and relaxed.

Karal settled himself cross-legged, breathing deep and even, and tumbled down into a peaceful calmness, Altra leaning against his back.

Considering what he was going to do after class, he needed all the calmness he could muster.

Sam was all right at meditating. He had a hard time keeping his mind completely clear though. But he was at least able to give the outward appearance of being peaceful.

Inara was thrilled to have another opportunity to meditate, and quickly made herself comfortable in the lotus position, then let her mind drift.

Her breathing was soon steady and she could feel herself centering.

Karal was peaceful and refreshed after the meditation, and was there for anyone who might need him.

Though part of him was waiting for Biff to drop the other shoe. This class was simply too normal.
