Jean-Paul was pacing again today. On the chalkboard were drawn two symbols, the multiplication symbol and the division symbol. It looked like a circle had been drawn around the X for multiplication, then erased. "My apologies for my absence last week, my player is a moron I had an unforeseen family emergency. In Canada. Luckily, the topic I had scheduled for last week and this week's topic dovetail quite nicely. Multiplication is simply adding the same number to itself x number of times. So five times four is five fours, or four fives, or, as I sincerely hope you all already know, twenty. Division is asking yourself 'how many times does this number fit into that number?' The rest of the information is handwavily in your texts. During class, I would like everyone to pair up and discuss ways that multiplication and division are useful in real life. On your way out the door, please pick up your worksheets and a review packet, because, yes, we will be having an exam when you get back from your break. Any questions?"

Squall sat on his desk in front of the classroom, with a stack of papers next to him. "All right, class!" he said, as he tossed out the sign-in clipboard. "Today's class is on PAYING ATTENTION, so we're going to have a little test. Books and notes away, and pencils out, please."

He hopped down off the desk and looked at them. "I hope you all've been taking good notes in class. Good luck; you're going to need it." He started passing the papers out. "No talking. Name in the top right corner. Answer the questions, to the best of your ability, with information you've learned in class." He smirked and rolled his eyes. "Or draw me a pretty picture of a pony. Whatever. Your choice, really."

As the students filed into the auditorium on this wtf cold stupid weather make up your mind! Friday morning, they'd see Fraser standing quietly on stage waiting for them to settle.

Once they did, he cleared his throat and said: "Thank you all for coming. As you know, safety is a very important and significant idea here at Fandom High. And the administration strives to provide you with the latest and greatest safety information whenever we can. Therefore, it is my honor to welcome Jack Bauer, former Counter Terrorist Unit agent, now retired, to our fine school. He has given of his time to come here to show illustrate to you how you can be safe in both ordinary and extraordinary situations."

Fraser stepped away from the microphone and gestured towards Jack before leaving the stage.

Yondaime handwavily stopped by the bakery before opening up study hall, so there were several large boxes of muffins, cookies, doughnuts and other various sickeningly sweet treats in which to buy the student's admiration. If they didn't eat it Deadpool and Aly sure would. There might have also been coffee, maybe.

Pizza and pop had been picked up for the Student Council meeting following the unwritten in stone law that a good Parliamentary session needed food.  Or perhaps that was just written in stone at Fandom.

Peter stood up to bring the meeting to order.  "First things first, we all did a brilliant job on Homecoming.  Everyone deserves a round of applause for how great our first project of the season came off even though we didn't have much time to prepare."

"Secondly, we have midterm break coming up next week which means two things.  One, Parents' Weekend is in a week, and two, any ideas for fun things to do over the break wouldn't go amiss."

He paused as a troupe of knights galloped across the table, banners flying.  "Hmm."

"Right.  So for Parents' Weekend, what we need is someone to find a place for the Sunday brunch to be held - which I'll volunteer to do, and suggestions for an activity on Saturday.  ...also if I can remember the horror of last year clearly, a party Sunday night might be in order."

"That being said, enjoy your pizza and let's figure this out."

Karal was beaming as he opened the library. Not because he loved the library (though he did), but because yesterday's good mood continued unabated.

Even opening the library doors and seeing a horde of wee knights attempting to build a trebuchet out of the new arrivals couldn't faze him. "You might be better off in the history section. 942," he added helpfully.

They stared up at him, then scurried off.

Altra, tail lashing, stalked after them. :This is going to be a very good day.:
