Interdisciplinary Studies or Whatever, Class 6, Friday, Period 1

Squall sat on his desk in front of the classroom, with a stack of papers next to him. "All right, class!" he said, as he tossed out the sign-in clipboard. "Today's class is on PAYING ATTENTION, so we're going to have a little test. Books and notes away, and pencils out, please."

He hopped down off the desk and looked at them. "I hope you all've been taking good notes in class. Good luck; you're going to need it." He started passing the papers out. "No talking. Name in the top right corner. Answer the questions, to the best of your ability, with information you've learned in class." He smirked and rolled his eyes. "Or draw me a pretty picture of a pony. Whatever. Your choice, really."

Johnny's mind panicked for a minute. What if he hadn't been taking good notes? What if he couldn't remember anything? What if his pony drawings came out looking more like mutated huskies? Would Prof Squall make him fail the class?

Cassandra recognized some of the words on the page. She was pretty sure that one was "what" and there was "the" and "on". Oh, and that one was "blue"! "Who" was one she'd seen before, and somehow "fight" was just one she understood.

With this amazing level of comprehension, Cassandra decided to scrawl out a series of really terrible sketches. So terrible it wasn't at all clear what they were supposed to be of.

Questions one and two Ino skipped over and the third made her grin. She looked consideringly at Squall and compared him mentally to Deadpool. Honestly? She thought Deadpool would win.

Ino scribbled down Squall. A bit of sucking up never hurt anyone right?

She spent the rest of test doodling flowers all around the edges.

Okay, she's really only been to Ching Tai and the pizza place, and she's pretty sure neither of them are really steak venues. So Carmela skips the first question.

And the second, since she doesn't really know her alcoholic drinks.

The third... Easy. Well, of the two, she's only *met* Squall, so of course she puts that down.

1) You totally never told us that. So I'm gonna say Fina. And if it's wrong, I don't give a crap. I don't know where else has steak. Whatever.

2) I'm not supposed to drink, and hello, another thing you never told us? I'm sure they have blue drinks. I usually go for orange. Fuzzy navels rock.

3) Deadpool would totally kick your ass. I'm his minion. I should know.

In the free space below question 3, Rikku drew a picture of an ice cream pony holding a gun. She put several arrows next to it and in big block letters: THIS IS WHY DEADPOOL IS MORE AWESOME THAN YOU. And then she added a ^ symbol so she could scribble "one of many reasons" before "WHY."

I'm not sure who Deadpool is, but I've had to fight Leon in my world a lot so definitely Squall.

2) Blue Lagoon, Blue Eyed Blonde, Blue Lightning, Blue Bucky...basically anything with Blue Curacao in it.

3) Squall. Deadpool is apparently insane. Not that that's necessarily a problem, but he's really insane.

For number one, Jenny hadn't eaten out much since she arrived on the island, but she'd seen the sign, and it seemed like the type of place to serve steak. For the second, Jenny knew her alcoholic drinks. For the third, well, Deadpool was really insane.

Johnny was relived to find out that the test was open questions. He scribbled down the best answers he could think of.

1) I hear that Cafe Fina's pretty good. You got a better chance there than at Pizza Planet or that Chinese place.
2) Does Labatt Blue count?
3) Squall, I guess. I haven't met Deadpool yet.


And he doodled on a drawing of a pretty pony, just in case that really was expected of the class. It only ended up looking a little like a mutated husky.

-I'm not familiar with Deadpool's fighting ability, but you do seem more than capable of handling yourself in a fight, so let's go with Squall.
