"Hey guys" Logan greeted the class as they took their seats, giving a handouts to each student. "Today we'll be looking at sterotypes." He moved to the front of the classroom, picking up his coffee mug for a sip before continuing.

"Unsurprisingly, stereotypes are something used quite a bit in popular media, in advertising. You'll hear a lot of people say stereotypes are bad, but why is that? Is there any reason they might be useful?"

Logan spread his hands, looking at the class curiously. "I don't doubt a lot of you have been identified as being part of a stereotype at one point or another, whether true or not. So here's an exercise as well; name the stereotype you believe you are closest to - or one of them, if there's multiple - and identify at least one way each that someone might use the appearance of that stereotype in a good way and a bad way, either to assume something about you specifically or the group you belong to in general."

Anakin, wearing his best "don't screw with me today" expression, came into the classroom a few minutes late and slammed the door shut behind him.

His eyes moved immediately towards the area of the classroom where John Crichton normally sat.

The desk was empty.

The look in Anakin's eyes hardened more. "Today we begin our discussion about the seven deadly sins," he said, cloak sweeping out behind him as he paced. "Specifically, wrath, envy and pride."

If Anakin looked like the poster child for wrath at the moment, it had entirely escaped his attention. So had the blood that had dried on his shoulder.

"Pride is traditionally considered the original and most serious of the sins--the one that everything else can be traced back to. Dante--a famous writer on this world--described it as 'love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbor.'"

"It's a very common human failing," Anakin continued. "Have you ever fallen for it--considered yourself to be so much smarter or better than your classmates? Or your teachers?" He shrugged. "Or are wrath or envy more your speed? Can you see how pride could lead to the other two vices we're discussing today?"

He waved a hand. "Pair up and talk about it."

There weren’t any mats on the floor, no stack of pamphlets to hand out. Nothing. Just Yondaime standing there in his jacket vest and... swim trunks?

He grinned brightly at everyone as they came in. "We’re taking a little break between martial arts. Next week we’ll be getting back into Capoeria, and then, Savate. So, does everyone know how to swim?" The blond chuckled.

Runnin a lot little late, Yomiko dashed into the library and flipped on the lights. Open, totally open, she'd been here the whole time. Really.

Rose entered the classroom, still tired but refreshed from a full night's sleep. "Hello, class, hope you had a wonderful weekend. Continuing from last week's lesson, still talking about the idiot box, this time we will talk about TV and music. You can imagine how influential this became when they've combined the two.

"If you've been reading the syllabus, you know this is one of the major projects of your class, by next week, I'd like you to create your own MTV. Criterias for grading would be creativity, teamwork, song choice, etc.,  I've assigned you to two groups, I'll give you time to discuss the project later. Speaking of MTV, let's delve into a little history, shall we? In 1981, this little network almost single handedly changed the face of the music industry. And I mean, radically, radically changed. Overnight this little network no one knew became a household name. If you want new, fresh music, if you want to produce a 'cool' image MTV was and is the place to launch it.

"They became keepers of the industry, took small time muscians and made them more popular face than they ever were. MTV has also been, to no surprise, credited for encouraging bad behaviour in teenagers. Do you lot agree with this statement? Do you think that television, movies and MTV have any influence in our behaviour?"

Rose looked to them, "Go on, what do you think?"

Group 1

Hermione Granger
S.T. Anders
Draco Malfoy
Armony Eiselstein
Edward Elric

Group 2

Henry Jekyll
Marco Conrad
Ami Mizuno
Ron Weasley
Alphonse Elric

"Today we're going to learn all about that wonderful thing we call road rage. Now I, for one, think that road rage is both healthy and normal, and believe that in this overly PC world we have forgotten about the poor angry people out there that just want to be free to cut others off and then throw scalding cups of coffee at those who anger them." He slammed his hands down on the desk like an angry southern lawyer who was standing up to injustice in a Grisham novel. He always wanted to be a young and angry southern lawyer but was held back by being Canadian. "When did America stop being a free place to live? When I ask you?!"

(That was a little over the top.)

He coughed once to clear the Grisham-ness from his system.

"I have a handout about how to avoid the perfectly acceptable rage," He said, waving toward a small pile on his desk.

Grinning and bouncing slightly on his heels he continued, "Buuuuut, I think that there's an easier way to work through the rage. And no, it's not boykissy or getting to kill people. That's sadly not legal. The killing, I mean. Boykissy is perfectly legal, just not something I wish to partake in despite any salacious rumors you may have heard. And don't look at me like that Door, you'll just have to live with the porn that I in no way am supplying you with because that is unacceptable behavior for a teacher and could get me arrested despite sleeping with the sheriff. She has a lot of rage, which is usually nice, but I'm not really harboring any jail time soap dropping fantasies so..." Another awkward cough. "I need to stop over sharing with you kids now before I get shot or something."

Reaching under his desk, he pulled out a large plastic bag. "Foam bats! We're going to work out our rage in a healthy and constructive environment." Deadpool was quite proud of himself for being about to say those two words in italics. He still had it. "Have fun beating each other up!"

After class was finished and most likely bruised, Deadpool made a small announcement before letting them leave. "Don't forget, next week in the Danger Shoppe for more ways to get rid of that nasty Jack Nicholson-esc taking a golf club to a car windshield type rage."

Das Schnitzel put two more cupcakes on the center table and placed the "Special - Do Not Eat" sign beside them. She waddled back behind the tree and finished writing her notes on Monday's subjects:

Jaye is obviously illiterate. Didn't even try to read the sign before shoving a cupcake in her mouth. If she doesn't watch herself she'll end up getting chunky and that'll just throw her chances of being Prom queen right out the window. On another note, the self-narration thing is hilarious. Should slip that in the food more often.
