Monday afternoon Elle waits at the salon for her eight diamonds in the rough. Bruiser is with her today, peeking his head out of the bag. Once everyone is assembled, Ell gives out a handwavey handout on salon etiquette and explains the day.

"Class, today we are going to experience the joy of the salon. There is nothing more important to your image than your body, and when your skin and hair and nails are healthy and beautiful it's kind of like having a canvas all ready to paint your masterpiece. So today we're going to go in here, you're all getting your hair done, everyone gets a manicure...even the boys. Especially the boys. Never underestimate the power of good cuticles. You'll also be getting pedicures and I promise, your feet will have never been so happy!"

[[ooc: Availability is still spotty at best. You've had a week to acquire gossip and I'm sure a salon trip will be foreign territory for at least 6 of you ICly. Have fun, talk lots, mod the staff and I'll jump in when I can.]]

Agatha waited for her two students to file in. The store was closed, and on the table in front of her were more clock parts as well as some sketches and images, not to mention photos.

"Alright guys. Today, you get to design what your clock will look like. Since there are two of you i thought that even though you should end up with a clock each, you should work together to design them. TAke a look at these images here. A clock can be something as simple as a circle of numbers with a small mechanism behind it, or it can be something as elaborate as the famous peacock clock in St. Petersburg. That one used to spit a pearl out on the hour every hour. A clock can also be anything in between."

She looked at the two boys. "Spend your time today figuring out what your clock housing will look like. That will dictate the size and constraints of your mechanism."

[OOC: How did you spend your Memorial Day? By scrapbooking and getting lei'd in Tick's class. I'm here all day for once, yay! Hence the slacking and not getting this posted sooner.]

When everyone had assembled in the dining hall, The Tick smiled and greeted them. "Hello, campers! I don't know if you've had a chance to see the schedule for Friday events yet, but in honor of the Luau that will be happening this week, we'll be making leis!"

"On each of your tables, you should find instructions, forty-five inch strings of dental floss, a large sewing needle, and up here at the front is a large selection of medium-size flowers to use. When you're done making your lei, please display it in on the front table here. I'll go ahead and have the dining staff store them in a refrigerator and if you want your lei for Friday, let you can handwavily retrieve them then."

"You got a good start with your scrapbooks last week. This week, I want you to start detailing it with text. Whether you want to write about your experiences over the past week, or just use random words to express your feelings. Think about how you want to use them. Up at the front table we have colored pens, markers, old magazines, scissors, and gluesticks. Get creative!"

"In a couple weeks, the Friday event will be an Art Fair. I want everyone here to have something in it, so please think about what you can do that you would want to display for the school to see."

Piper smiled at the students as they arrived. "Just so you all are clear, none of my ingredients are demonic. I know some of you were wondering last week."

She couldn't help snickering a little before pointing out the carrot cake sitting on the counter in front of her. "We're going to make carrot cake today. As you can see, I made one for the class. Feel free to take a slice."

She gave each student a list of ingredients and instructions. "I'll be around if you have any questions. Good luck."

It's a Monday. And a holiday. Work? Bah.

Yet here Tyler is, sitting behind the desk at the Fandom High Library paging through Slaughterhouse-5 Killingfloor-6. The library is open for business.

[OOC: Open. No OCD threads 'cause it's summer, yo.]
