Did Anakin need to have his robe hood up over his head? No, but it was cold and he was being dramatic. "It is Tuesday again," he announced like that was news.

"A fact you've probably already noticed, given you're all here," Ahsoka said wryly.

Anakin gave her a look. "Perhaps," he admitted. "Sometimes friendship means sitting in silence and not talking!"

Was he giving her a look? Ahsoka was cheerfully ignoring it. "Which is easier when you have something to focus your attention on," she said, and before Anakin could suggest meditation. "Like watching a movie."

"And then you have something to talk about after it's over," Anakin said with a nod. "What movie did you choose?"

Please don't say a heist movie, Ahsoka.

That was for later in the semester. "Something about magical clothing," Ahsoka said, reading the title. It had been the first thing that came up when she search for the power of friendship.

"...sure," Anakin said. "Let's watch something about magic pants." And watch Anakin get weird about his wife's doppelganger!

When the students arrived at Portalocity for today, they'd discover Jon rushing out and ushering them after him. "There's been a change of plans, I'm afraid. Er...well." A rickshaw met him, and he thanked the driver as he started unloading a number of shovels, buckets, empty garbage bags, mops, rubber gloves, and assorted equipment.

"We were meant to be heading into Baltimore today, but apparently it's 'national oatmeal day', or something of the sort, and the gremlins got a bit...enthusiastic at the playground. I...I actually have no idea how they managed it, and quite frankly, I think we're all better off not knowing, but it's a good opportunity to better this place we live in, so. We're going to clean it up."

He started passing out cleaning things. "Take equipment and let's get to cleaning. And watch out for any leftover gremlins that may be lurking under porridge piles."

The tent was back up and had space heaters! Because dear god it was cold out still. But the teachers were learning, you see.

"Welcome back," Tony said. "We'll start out with judging your stuffed, braided brioche from last week while you get into the first challenge of the day with your take on a Whoopie Pie. Which isn't a pie at all, it's two soft cookies sandwiched around some frosting."

Which was delicious, honestly.

And more like cakes, but your teachers didn't care. "Two soft cookies of whatever flavor you chose, sandwiched with homemade marshmallow fluff that can also be flavored," Steve said.

"And then after that, we'll be testing you with some jam filled heart cookies," Tony added. To prepare for next month, of course. If you get them right."

"Yum," Steve said helpfully. "And your take home assignment is a gingerbread house! Well. Castle."

"It's of the school," Tony added helpfully. "So it should be easy to model."

“Good morning,” Cutter began that week’s class, holding his usual cup of coffee, “this week we’re going to be looking at the geologic time scale,” he explained, “this is a representation of time based on the rock record of Earth, It is a system of chronological dating chronostratigraphy which is the process of relating strata to time and geochronology a scientific branch of geology that aims to determine the age of rocks”

“It is used by scientists to determine the timing and relationship of events in geologic history. The time scale has been developed through the study of rock layers and the observation of their relationships and identifying features such as lithologies, paleomagnetic properties and fossils,” he finished and smiled over at Connor for him to continue the lecture.

Connor nodded as he continued with the lesson, "Thank you, Professor. To dig even deeper, the Geologic Time is a crucial concept to understanding the history of the earth—including the evolution of life. Many different representations of the timeline have been created, and many approaches developed by informed, trusted sources. The geologic time scale in general is divided into five basic categories- eons, eras, periods, epochs, and ages."

"To make geologic time easier to comprehend, geologists divided the 4.6 billion years of Earth's history into units of time called eons. Then they further divided the eons into two or more eras, eras into two or more periods, periods into two or more epochs, and epochs into two or more ages. It is with this breakdown we can classify events, fossils, and other aspects of Earth' s history as seen in the fossil record." Connor glanced back at Cutter with a nod as he handed the lecture back over to him.

“For the rest of the class,” Cutter continued, “I would like you to take the time to explore the interactive guide to mass extinctions and learn more about the end of the different eras,” he finished, “and as always, myself and Mr. Temple are around to answer any questions that you may have,”
