Jon met everybody at Portalocity again. "Welcome. I, um. I thought we'd do something fun for adults and children, just in case. I thought that after this spring's somewhat...er...interesting trip, we should go to an actual non-traumatic amusement park, and this seemed like a good time for it. There are quite a few good ones, but I thought we'd head to Alton Towers. It's got a good number of attractions and things to do, and should be quite fun." And not as ridiculous and American as Disney World.

Their portal opened, and he ushered everybody through, only then stepping through himself, and into...

"Wait. This is not Alton Towers!"

He headed back for the portal, but it closed before he got there. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Right. Apparently we're going here instead. Enjoy," he added dryly.

That morning Connor and Cutter were joined in class by Tabby and Teddy who were looking curiously around the room but staying close to their dads.

“Good morning,” Cutter began that day’s class, “we actually didn’t have a class planned this week so we’re going to have a nice simple class today and have a movie   day instead,” he explained and then went to press play.

Which would be why anyone who turned up to class would find an empty classroom with a movie playing on loop.

Navaan didn't have any children this year (or any year), because there was only so much crack the island can take and this would exceed that amount by no small margin. But what she did have over the weekend was a child-sized hookah and enough drugs to fit into it.

So, uh, there was no teacher today and that meant no class. And, honestly, it was Navaan. That she'd only completely spaced one class was pretty impressive for her!
