"Webster's dictionary--" Did Shunsui think it was hilarious to start his class with a nearly textbook lazy way to start any speech or lecture? Yes. Yes, he did, "--defines the word lazy as mean 'disinclined to activity or exertion : not energetic or vigorous' &hearts. 'Encouraging inactivity or indolence, moving slowly, not rigerous or strict.' But I," here he flashed the students a smile, "define it as an art ♥."

Thus the name of the class! Shunsui gave the class, gathered, as always for these things in the summer, in the park, under the tree by the pond, with pot of tea to share...if anyone could be bothered to pour from it, anyway. He did gesture toward it, though, with a lift waft of his hand.

"Please," he said, "help yourself to some tea and we shall get started ♥. Today will, in the tradition of first days for classes, be remarkably lazy, with the laziest of all lesson plans to lead the way: the introduction class, of course ♥. Now, in the philosophy of the class, it is important to point out that just because something, like an introduction class, is lazy, that does not mean it is necessarily useless. Introducing ourselves to each other plays an important role in familiarizing yourself with your classmates, and perhaps even some new friends, neh ♥? So I'm sure you all know the drill by now: let us know who you are, perhaps why you were interested in learning about the Art of Laziness in the first place, and let's say your favorite lazy-day activity. And when we're finished, we can just whittle away the minutes left in the class period by enjoying the day and watching the ducks and appreciating the luxury of being far lazier than them as they swim and dive and flutter about ♥."

Sam Eagle Presents WeirDONT'S: How Not To Be A Weirdo 2, Tuesday 7/4, 4th Period

Sam was looking extremely patriotic today but not weirdly so. Sam would never.

“Students! Today is the most important holiday in this great country! In order to fit in here, in America it is vital that you understand our history! So I have, of course, prepared a lecture on the history of Independence Day and America and patriotism! You will be expected to take notes. There will be a test so that I can ensure you will not be found weird later!”

That moment, of course, was when Beaker entered the room with far too many fireworks contained on his small Muppet person.

“No, absolutely not! Fireworks belong outside in the dark, Beaker!”

“Meepmeep meep meep meep!”

The fireworks went off just as the penguin band entered playing a Sousa march.

”Class dismissed! TAKE COVER!”

This was not what Sam had planned.

Introduction to Dinosaurs 11 - Tuesday, 1st Period

“Good morning,” Cutter nodded as they started the first week of classes for the second session, every now and then he was glancing down at his new fingerless gloves and smiling softly at them, “this is Introduction to Dinosaurs Part 2, we’ll be continuing where we left off last session and continue to explore new dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures,” he said, “since we’re a small class and we all know each other, I thought we would do something different for our first class and we could do a quiz to refresh on what we covered last session before we continued on with what we’ll be covering for this session,”

He nodded at Connor, giving him a smile to indicate for him to continue with the class.

Connor returned the smile and nod with his own as he turned and looked at the familiar faces. “So this is just a quick little fun quiz we put together for you guys,” Connor said as he handed out a few papers. On it, you will find three ‘facts’ about each of the creatures we learned about last class. Only one of the facts given is incorrect. You need to tell us which one is incorrect for each creature listed.” Had he just turned Two Truths and a Lie into a class assignment? Yes, yes he had- in typical Connor Temple fashion. Connor looked back to Cutter to see if he wanted to add anything else.

Cutter smiled, “this quiz isn’t counting towards anything, it’s just a bit of fun,” yes Cutter thought a quiz was fun, “see what you can do and if there’s anything you need, myself and Mr. Temple will be on hand to answer any questions,”

Buckle Those Swashes, Tuesday 3rd Period

Class was being held on the deck of the Siren's Call. At least it was once Isabela got there from her previous class.

"So you want to be a pirate," she said, swaggering about the place. "I could tell you about how it's one of the most dangerous, daring professions out there. Or I could explain how it's the one of the most thrilling experiences that gets you the attention of all the girls and boys."


"Or we could just do introductions because it's one of those holidays where people blow stuff up and Beaker's in this class," Aphra suggested. "Though the bits about danger and girls are totally true."
