"Good morning, ducklings ♥!" True to fashion, Shunsui was there in the little writing circle, with plenty of tea and very little intention to teach a class that required a great deal of effort. "Today, I'd like for us to do another writing exercise, much like last week, but with something much more...focused than the mere umbrella of setting in general ♥. Now, one would probably do well to avoid cliches in their writing...a cliche being, of course, an overuse or overdone concept, idea, plot point or phrase...but for the sake of writing exercises? They can be quite useful ♥.

"You've probably heard the line a million times, in fact, and it is a line that is instantly evocative of a time and place: it was a dark and stormy night ♥. Ahhhh, but then what? That is where you come in. Today, we'll be writing stories with that as the first line, and where you take it from there, well....that's up to you, now isn't it ♥?

"We'll spend some time writing, bouncing ideas off each other, and toward the end of class, we'll see where we've wound up on this, indeed, dark and story night ♥."

"Continuing our trend of exploring various mounts used around Hyrule," Sidon said, grinning at the class from the front of the classroom, "we will soon be traveling back to Hyrule, and specifically, to the Gerudo Desert, where we will be learning all about sand seals!"

He gestured, somewhat proudly, the the globby shape with tusks and a tail on the board that was Sidon's best attempts to draw one such sand seal.

"Native to the Gerudo Desert," he continued, "the sand seal resembles quite a bit the creature on Earth known as a walrus, and are particularly well known for their fierce and mighty tusks and they're ability to move through the shifting sands of the deserts as easily as a Zora might move through the waters of Lake Hylia!

"Now, some have learned how to ride the sand seals themselves, but the most popular way of utilizing their speed and swiftness for effective desert traveling is something known as shield surfing, where you tether the seal and, with your feet on an overturned shield, ride the sand waves with the seal pulling you along! The Gerudo have made quite the business out of it, domesticating sand seals to rent to tourists and travelers, even offering up sand seal training and racing! In a moment, our portal will be here to take us to just outside of Gerudo Town, where a sand seal trainer has graciously offered to give you a lesson in sand seal handling, and then give you the opportunity to race them! So get read for a nice quick trip to a very warm, dry place, and to get to see these sand seals up close and personal!"

During her shift in the library today Belle found herself, inexplicably, surrounded by gremlins. Tunney weren't menacing her. They were just being very loud, throwing things, and generally wreaking havoc.

Belle was choosing to stay close to the desk today for obvious reasons.

Even when a pair of gremlins decided to start vaulting over a bookshelf and one crashed headfirst into another shelf as a result.

"You'll get no sympathy from me," Belle told them. "You've brought this on yourselves. Honestly!"

Well, the tent was back to normal with both, count them, both teachers there! And not missing for a change.

Look, sometimes things happen.

"Apologies for last week, we..." They forgot about teaching a class.

"Yes, we, ah..." Both of them. They both forgot. "Well, let's just move on," Yennefer said briskly. "To scones! Native to the isle of Britain, a treat for any time of day...up to afternoon tea, at least. I'm not sure you're allowed to eat them in the evening."

"I feel like you can eat them at any point in time," Jaskier said firmly. "Who puts time limits on dessert?"

Spoken like a true noble. Yennefer nodded and said, "Very true. You can also add things to them!" Exciting. "Currants are apparently quite traditional. I'm rather fond of currants," she told Jaskier, as if he might care.

Jaskier nodded enthusiastically at that suggestion. "We have a recipe ready for you all to try and put your own twist on."

"As a bonus challenge, you must make a cup of tea to pair with your scone." Yennefer clapped her hands together enthusiastically and said, "Now get to it!" No, that wasn't...that wasn't the line. Maybe she'd get it by the end of the semester.

Today's classroom was pitch black except for dramatic green laser beams crisscrossing the room.

"I wish I could say that in my life I've never had to get across a room like this," Anakin said, "but that would be a lie. So now you have to do it too!"

Such fun for you.

"Unlike the one I dealt with, this will not bring instant death if you touch the beams." That's very reassuring, right? "Instead it will just sting like hell and set off an alarm, bringing security with guns in ten seconds."

He waved his hand and a single white light illuminated a safe on the far side of the room. "You have to get across the room, break open the safe using the skills from last week, and get back across the room with the document inside. You have ten minutes. You may not use your powers."

That was enough time and instruction! Probably!

"You may begin now."

And a ten minute timer began counting down on the wall.
