"Welcome back, ducklings ♥," Shunsui greeted from his spot in their little writers' circle, having just finished pouring some tea as they started to come in and get settled. "I'm sure by now you're quite a bit in the swing of things with your regular classes, but I, myself, am not quite ready to let go of our beautiful little holiday, and I'm sure you all feel the same way, neh ♥? So I figured....we've talked a little bit on character, we've talk a little bit on plot, but we haven't talked much about setting for our writing yet, have we? Through the written word, we have the ability to make any setting, real or imagine, come as alive as if we were there ourselves ♥. Through the written word, one can be whisked away to all sorts of places without ever having to leave their seat. No trouble of packing a bag or dealing with travel, all you have to do is crack open a book ♥.

"And so today," he offered with a soft smile, "I was thinking we can work on one of two things, whichever you feel like: you can take some time to revisit your last week by weaving a story inspired by your experiences on Sumba Island, or I would like you to take some time to really develop a setting. I can be a made-up place or a real place you've been to, but really think about ways to describe it to bring it to life. Remember to tap into all the senses, as well, not just what it looks like. But how does it feel, what are the sounds, should we find the smells repugnant or pleasant? Even what tastes we may have playing on our lips as we discover this world you're crafting with your words. I have brought in some picture books and atlases from the library, as well, if you need a spark of inspiration, but, if there are no questions, ducklings, I'll simply let you get to work ♥."

"I hope you're all ready for an adventure today," said Sidon, flashing a shining, toothy grin at the students from the front of the classroom, with a pump of his fist, because he, personally, was always ready for adventure, "because we'll be going back to Hyrule again today, and we're going to learn all about Hylian horses! Now that you've learned about moblins, bokoblins, and lizalfos, and even had some first-hand experience with that last one, I think we can safely venture out into the lands and be prepared should we run into any trouble! Hopefully, though, we should have a nice peaceful visit where we can focus on these majestic beasts!

"It may come as a surprise to you all," Sidon continued, with the kind of chuckle that made it clear that he knew this was going to be a surprise to no one, "but I am not much for horseback riding, myself! However, horses and mules are an incredibly popular way to travel around Hyrule, to the point where there is an elaborate network of stables scattered throughout the land, for all your travel needs! One may find far more than horses at these stables; they may also find a meal for the day, a soft bed, and even helpful information! But today, we are focusing, of course, on the horses, and the stable owner has kindly agreed to impart all of his knowledge about Hylian horses to you, from the very basics to the thrilling lessons! So, as soon as our portal arrives, we'll head out to Hyrule and you'll get to see the horses for yourself. And...."

He threw in a little bit of a wink.

"We may have something else in store for us, as well!"

"Today we're going to learn code cracking," Anakin said, seating each student in front of safes he'd rigged up for the day.

If you'd been to a summer shenanigan, you were very smart to be wary.

"The task today is simple: open the safe before the time runs out and the siren goes off. Loudly. With blinking lights. And glitter."

Opening the safe correctly would also lead to glitter, but that was just a fun surprise.

He held up a stop watch. "Your time starts now."

Why was there a copy of Interdimensional Travel for Dummies waiting for Belle on the desk today? She had no idea.

She also had no idea why there were other, less aggressively titled, books on interdimensional travel on a cart next to the desk?

It was a mystery. Which was fine with Belle since she enjoyed a good mystery. This wasn't her usual reading fare but that was fine.
