"Hey, guys," Prompto gave the class a (somewhat sleepy) grin from the front of the classroom, clapping his hands together just as much to pump his own energy up as much as it was meant for the students, "welcome back! I hope you guys had a great time on the school trip. I'd ask you to tell me about it, but I think you can both guess what we're going to do instead, and that's having you tell me about it through all the great pictures you took! We're not going to focus on a new lesson or anything this week, we'll save that for when some of the excitement has died down, and I hope you remembered to get some good landscape shots, because I still want to talk about those, and we can use your vacation pictures as examples to point out various techniques that you've employed or could be employed, you know?

"Make sense?" Again, he clapped his hands together, pushed off from where he was leaning on the desk a little and bounced between his feet to keep that momentum going. "So, who wants to go first? And we'll take it one picture at a time, break it down, and you can relive your memories and share some stories about it, especially since I didn't get the chance to go, and I'm really curious about how things went."

And, yeah, sure, he'd gotten some updates from Gladio and Ignis, but Gladio's recaps just made Prompto feel more exhausted than he already was, and Iggy's just made him hungry.

Besides, how many chances did you get, anyway, to get to just show off your sweet vacation for a class assignment anyway?

Well, one of your teachers still looked pleasantly tanned from your trip abroad, class. The other looked very much like he always did, which was part of the deal with super serum: amazing healing ability but also no lasting suntan. Since Steve was Irish, he'd never had a lasting suntan anyway, so he didn't feel like he was missing out much. "We promised you pottery before our break," he said with a little smile, "so today we'll...pot." No, that wasn't right. "Sculpt! Today we sculpt."

"Sculpt," Tony agreed with a laugh. "We have pottery wheels if you're feeling dangerous, but today will be more about getting a feel for the clay and what you can do with it."

That phrasing definitely would've gone badly during pollen week. "Think of it like Playdoh from when you were a kid," Steve advised. "Make lots of long snakes, then stack them up to make a vase. Once you have your basic shape, we'll let them dry and you can paint them next week. If you finish early, feel free to sketch out your plans for what the final piece will look like."

All About Tea, Wednesday

"Welcome back, everybody." Jon was looking a little rundown, but not too bad. Also just a little tan. "I hope you enjoyed our holiday in Indonesia. It's actually a tea-growing region, so I thought we could go through a bit of that this week. It's mostly known for black tea, though there are other sorts as well. Java and Sumatra are the parts most known for tea production - and coffee, too, actually - and roughly half of the country's tea is exported. Most of that is from state and large corporate plantations, whereas smaller private groups account for most of the domestic production, because why take care of your people when you can make money instead." Ah, capitalism.

"Nevertheless, we have Indonesian tea here. I did my best to source it ethically while we were there, so hopefully at least some of the profit will make it to people who could actually use it. There's often no way to do that, but I encourage you to work at it as much as possible. Meanwhile, we've got some Javan and some Sumatran tea, so let's drink them and see if you can tell the difference, see what you think of them, and I'll answer any questions you have. Well. Relevant ones."
