Even though Prompto had gotten the news that this might very well not just be his last class for the semester, but pretty much is last class ever a couple of days ago, he was still kind of processing it. It was a lot, finding out that everything you'd been working on, everything you were building, had to suddenly come to a near-complete stop. And the worst of it was that it wasn't like he was surprised by the news. He knew it was coming. He just maybe sort of...forgot. Or ignored it. Tried not to think about it, but now it was there, refusing to go unacknowledged.

But, of course, he wasn't going to let that affect his class today. A particularly keen eye might have noticed there was something a little forced in the usual bounces and grins, but they were there all the same.

"Hey, guys!" he chirped, not really sure if it was a good thing this was the last class so he didn't have to do much or if he would have preferred a nice detailed lesson to go over to distract him. "So here we are! We made it to the end! Hopefully, you guys learned a few things here and there, or, at the very least, are a better photographer now that when we started. In fact, we're going to go ahead and see just how good of a photographer you are!

"I hope you remember, but I asked you all to put together a sort of presentation of your work over the semester to show off some of your best and favorite shots and talk a little bit about what you learned and maybe what might be ahead of you in the world of photography, and it's definitely okay to say that you're thinking it might not be for you, too. Any volunteers to go ahead and kick this thing off?"

Meeting the class outside the school yet again, Gladio grinned at the students and got right into it; after all, they only had so much time in a class period, and he wanted to get the most out of it. "Alright, guys," he said, "it's the last class of the semester, which means we're just going to try and enjoy it by taking a little trip out to Montana. Specifically the Huckleberry Mountain Lookout trail, which is said to be a good, moderate height with some really fantastic views and it's an area known to have a lot of bear activity, so you've got to really keep an eye out."

Not that he imagined they'd really have that much trouble with a mountain lion likely trailing it up with them, but, still. You think Gladio's going to come across a well-known bear trail and not pick that one?

"And it all ends at a fire lookout that will provide a good space for us to go over some of the things we've learned about setting up camp and any last minute questions or thoughts you might have. With that said, let's hike on over to Portalocity and get hit the road."

When Belle arrived in the library today she found that some furniture had been moved to create an open space and that there were several jump ropes (not that Belle knew what they were) laying on the ground.

She looked at them, confused, for a moment before heading to the desk to find a speaker and a book on something called Double Dutch.

There were also several very odd cookbooks from yesterday waiting to be shelved for some reason.

The glasses were all put up in the tavern in honor of the last class of the semester. Or because they couldn't help but program the bartender to act like a real bartender in the face of all that punching.

"Today is our last class together," Jaskier said with theatrical solemnity. "Unless you take our class in the summer, of course."

Oh, Cara could never escape him.

She could try, but alas, it seemed the one thing she was destined to fail at. "Which means it's time to see just how much you've learnt."

"And we have so very much enjoyed our time with you and would like to celebrate the occasion with--oh no, why is he putting up the alcohol now?" Someone didn't tell Jaskier what the plan really was.

He mightn't have turned up if she'd done that. "We're going to have a good, old-fashioned free for all, and I do mean all," Cara said with a grin

"Oh. Oh, you're just mean." Why was he so into that?

Cara did not know why, and she didn't need to know. "Be gentle," she said, as she went to shove Jaskier into the fray. "He's delicate."
