"Good morning," Ignis greeted the class with a nod from the front of the classroom. "In considering the best way to measure how well you've all managed to cultivate knowledge in this particular course, I would have liked to have done a more practical exam, but due to the broad nature of the topics, such an endevour seemed quite....challenging. So my apologies that I've decided to resort to a written test for our final class today," his hand fell on the stack of papers in front of him, "but I truly feel it will be the better way to guage how much you've been able to retain in this particular course."

And, yes, by now, it should really not surprise you that Ignis was absolutely that teacher giving an actual test during finals week.

"If anything," he then offered out, with a small smile as if this was a consolation, "it may be a relief to those of you who suffer slightly from performance anxiety in more hands-on matters."

With that, he started passing out the tests. "You have all class period to finish, of course," he said, "and if you complete the exam early, you may, of course, make your exit and enjoy the rest of the day. I hope you've all found at least some part of this class helpful, useful, or enlightening, and that you've enjoyed learning these subjects as much as I've enjoyed teaching them. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and, if not, I'll leave you all to it."

"In the great wide world of sports," Gladio got the class started that day with a grin on his face that they should all be terribly used to, and palming a large rubber ball that should start making a few of them sweating by its mere existence easily in one hand, "there are many roads we could have taken to this final class, you guys. A lot of options. But we felt, in light of the class as a whole, there really only was one solution, one sport that will truly level the playing field and separate the bold and the brave: dodgeball."

With that, he tossed the ball to Dwight to keep the introduction going.

"It has been a great class and we are proud of the progress and work you all have made," Dwight said as he looked around at the class. "So to finish things off on a hopefully fun note, let's get ready to play!"

Anakin had been beaten to the class by the school troll Fosse, who was already putting on an elaborate, extended, one-troll tap dance concert on the stage for the students.

"Well that was certainly something," Anakin said when Fosse wrapped up his second encore that no one, frankly, had asked for. "And since we now have 15 minutes left in the class, your final examination is to...replicate a portion of what Fosse just did."

It felt weird for Jo to think that she had finished her first full year at a school. This time last year she had been expelled for being a thief and this year she had managed to keep out of trouble and had successfully completed her first year at a high school.

She wasn’t sure what she was expecting today when she turned up for her library shift but she was relieved to find that there were no bunnies around so she had an easier time putting away the books she needed to and enjoying a quieter shift.
