"Good morning, ducklings ♥." Feeling as though yet another one of those close-call weekends had pleasantly passed him by entirely, Shunsui was very much still in his usual lazily good mood that Monday, comfortably lounging and doling out cups of tea for his students, though this time served in a glass teapot, to better display the blooming, flowering tea he'd gone with for this week. "Today, let's talk a little bit about inspiration, our muses ♥. We've talked so far about poetry sparking from any number of inspirational sources...music, love, history, nature...but what about...other forms of art? What about...." sparing a brief, knowing wink toward Astrid-chan, "paintings, hmm ♥?

"Today, we're going to talk about four poems that were inspired by well-known art. Ater all, they do say that a picture is worth a thousand words, neh ♥? So let's have a look at those words, we'll talk a little bit about how effective or fitting they are to their sources of inspiration, and then, of course, for next week, I'd like you to find a piece of art to inpire a poem of you own ♥. Simple enough ♥. So...let us get started."

If Yennefer appeared slightly less than her usual impeccably put-together self today, it might have something to do with the seven-year-old sitting in a corner of the classroom. Zdzislawa had somehow obtained a little child-sized lute, and was now attempting to compose a song upon it, the subject of which seemed to be how kittens were great and her parents should allow her to have one.

Yennefer had to admit she was quite talented for her age.

"The king continues to be embroiled in an ill-advised war," Yennefer reported to her students. "News of heavy losses among his armies have reached the castle, and some of the king's advisors have suggested we all just pretend he wasn't trying to conquer the entire country after all and everything has been going just as he planned, in order to spin this war as not a total failure. However, of course, this requires you to come up with an alternate, plausible plan to present to the public, and then you must convince the king. How will you proceed?"

"Kittens," Zdzislawa warbled. "Their little feet look like mittens..."

Yennefer's eyelid twitched. "Do not present your schemes in song."

Kitty didn't know if there would be kids in class or how many, so she decided to go easy just in case. So the Danger Shop was just a normal suburban neighborhood, and it was sunny and very hot.

"I'm sure you've heard it during the summer," she said. "'It's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk.' So why not try it here, in this controlled environment as opposed to an actual home where you should get parents' permission first."

You're welcome, parents!

"I have a bunch of eggs here. It is a hundred degrees out, hot enough that you would not like being in bare feet on asphalt. See what's possible. Try an egg on the sidewalk. Try it with foil underneath it. Maybe in an asphalt driveway. What kind of results do you get?"

Your teacher was back in front of the class. Yay. Complete with a very dubious tween beside her. Yay?

"So there are some things you actually can't escape from," Aphra said. "Not without being a terrible person." Which some people were actually okay with, just so you knew.

"But just because you can't escape from those responsibilities doesn't mean you can't find ways to discharge them that aren't going to lead you to soul-crushing despair. Sometimes the right solution is to recognise that you aren't the kind of person who should be taking on those responsibilities and instead find a better person and place for them."

"I'm not going to visit grandpa," Nebitu said. "And I told you Dad's place is too noisy."

"Oh, c'mon."
