"Last week," Ignis started the class that morning with a faint smile that actually seemed somewhat less subtle than his usual retrained expressions of amusement, "we learned quite a bit with cleaning, didn't we? And while there are quite a few more essential lessons to be learned in regards to proper home maintenance ahead of us, I thought perhaps we could take it a little bit easier today before we get into the Next Big Thing."

And when words like 'take it easy' escaped from Ignis Scientia, you knew he was in either a remarkably good mood or had perhaps been bit by a gremlin or replaced with someone else entirely.

"Today," he continued, "I'd like you all to work together in planning for a party. After all, entertaining guests and serving as a good host is a crucial part in maintaining a household, and, quite frankly, it's one of the more enjoyable aspects of it, as well. But that doesn't mean that it may not require careful planning and deliberation to make it go smoothly and well so that your guests may have an evening to remember that they will surely talk about for years to come.

"As I said, I'd like you to all work together in planning for this party, so it will serve as an excellent team building exercise as well. Things you'll need to determine: what kind of party is it? What will it be for? Who will be the likely guests and how will you invite them? You'll want to determine things like food, beverages, entertainment....decor, venue, and any other considerations that may fall into place as you start to plan for your event. I will, of course, be here if you have any questions, but I would like to see you all use your ecclectic mix of backgrounds and experiences to come together and collaborate on a truly great soirree. For the purposes of this exercise, your budget is unlimited, although, depending on what you decide to go with, we may examine such expenses more closely in a future class to get a better handle on just how far an entertainment dollar can or cannot stretch.

"And, with that, I'll leave you to it, and I look forward to hearing what you come up with by the end of class."

PE and Health Class - Friday - First Period

After the last few classes and all the progress that has been made, Dwight figured the kids deserved an easier day. And you know what? He probably deserved one too if anyone was to ask him. So the class today was fairly laid back and the setup was a bit unique as everyone gathered for the start of the class.

Both instructors stood in their normal spots, both looking quite relaxed and comfortable as they waited for everyone to gather.

"Last week," Gladio started, "was kind of a big one for some of you, and you guys did great with it. So this week, we're mixing it up a little and kind of letting you have fun and kind of do your own thing…but with these."

Gladio? Looking all too pleased with himself as he upended a box and sent a flood of the scooters onto the floor? Oh, yeah. This was going to be great.

"You all have been doing good with this class, putting in the effort, showing up, and giving it your best each time," Dwight said with a grin as he looked around at the class. "That has not gone unnoticed. You all earned a free day today!"

And that enthusiasm from his teaching buddy? Yeah, that earned a chuckle and a small smirk from Dwight who was also looking forward to a more laid-back and relaxed day. Yes, this was going to be a lot of fun. And who knew, maybe he and Gladio would break down and join in for some fun themselves. So yes, enjoy the sight of your two giant teachers trying to maneuver on these things!

"And," Gladio had to add, with another grin, as they started to wrap things up and send them off into scooter chaos, "in a way, this is kind of building up into next week, too, so keep that in mind."

"Alright then, let the fun begin," Dwight said as he gave the go-ahead and then gave Gladio a smirk.

"Hello," Anakin said, sitting on the stage and swinging his feet off the edge. "I hope you remembered you have to recite a poem from memory today. Let's be sure to focus on the speed in which you are speaking and how loud you are speaking. I will want to hear you at the back of the auditorium without feeling as if you are screaming at me."

He smiled. "And if you've forgotten, well, consider this your 45 second warning to invent a poem on the fly and sell it very hard."

Either way, it would be dramatic, right?

Library - Friday

There were a stack of books waiting to be reshelved when Jo got to the library after her classes were finished for the day, only she found that when she went to return the books, she could only find romance books.

She wandered around the library trying to find where the other genres had gone but she eventually gave up and returned to the desk, still rather puzzled that most of the other books had seemed to vanish. Hopefully no one actually needed to check out books today, or if they did they at least liked romance.
