"Hey, everyone!" Prompto was sitting on the desk up front with his legs danging and kicking slightly, but the grin on his face made it clear that he had much more confidence in this whole teaching thing this week than he had last week. Because last week had actually gone....really well, he thought? And it made him think that actually maybe he wasn't so bad at this after all, but, hey! Second class! So we'll see. "Good to see you again, I hope you've all had an awesome week so far and that you're ready to really get comfortable with your cameras and taking some shots because we're going to be doing that a lot today. I have something really fun set up for us in that regard, but first!"

He flashed them a smile, giving off a little chuckle.

"You had homework, right? I think it was three shots, of some of your favorite places around the island. So let's hook up the cards on the camera and you can show everyone your three best shots, talk about them a little, and we'll sort of break down a little about what works and what doesn't, because today's lesson is going to be nature photography. We'll talk about it a little bit, and then we're going to go ahead and practice some of the things we've learned out in the wild, so to speak! So, any volunteers to go first? I've got some, too," he added, "if you need me to break the ice."

The Gladiators would come into the Danger Shop that day to find the arena focused around a large foam pyramid, so if anyone was wondering what they might be doing for this week's challenge, Rosa might let you skip wearing the helmet this week because there was clearly nothing up there that needed to be protected.

"Alright, Gladiators," she nodded once they all seemed settled, "welcome back. Glad you've survived to at least the second class. This," she gestured...well, half-gestured...it was a gesture if you had a lot of imagination...toward the foam pyramid, "is the Pyramid. The goal is simple: get to the top. But, of course, it won't be that simple. Based on your performances last week with the Human Cannonball, Beast, Nebulizer, Coyote: you are all the Defenders of the Pyramid. Do whatever it takes to make sure the other gladitors don't reach the top.

"In previously classes, we've done this in heats and races, but since this is a smaller class this semester and we've got three defenders, we're doing it free-for-all style. Whoever manages to get through the defenders and reach the top first might get an advantage next time, who knows? You'll have to survive to see.

"Any questions? If not, let's gear up and get going. Defenders, head on up and get ready to defend the territory; the rest of you, get limber, get stretched, and get ready."

"Hello again, everyone," Anakin said as Ben waved, "and welcome to our second trip. Today we are traveling to--" he smacked the map out in front of the Portalocity office, pointing to somewhere vaguely Africa, "Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso. Please go through the portal, pick up your live chickens, and prepare to race!"

"Wait, their what?" Ben asked, blinking.

"Live chickens," Anakin said.

"Your brain absolutely terrifies me," Ben said.

Somehow or another, Jessica actually remembered she had a class today. Either that or she showed up at Caritas and some of her "students" were already there.

Either way she went behind the bar and pulled out a "bottle of wine".

"Yeah. Uh. Tonight's wine is called Thunderbird," she said pouring herself a glass. "Which is vinted in the fine city of Modesto California. It is a citrus wine with caramel coloring."

Yes. Jessica was just reading off the label of the bottle. "And it tastes like-"

She took a sip and made a face.

"Corn syrup mixed with bottom shelf vodka that has been left out in the sun. Tonight's drinking game? A little game called 'Most Likely'."

Today class would be meeting in the Danger Shop. The instructor was a grumpy-faced Bob.

"Fine, apparently we're learning physical education," he said with a scowl. "But I see no reason not to incorporate magic into it. So, today you will be racing from here," he pointed down at the ground in case you needed that help, "to there." He pointed to the far side of the room, where a door helpfully flashed. It was a good distance out, and a fair distance up.

He (with a delight that had less to do with the course than with the ability to do so) pressed a button on the room's controls, and an elaborate three-dimensional hedge maze sprung up.

"Right." He clapped his hands. "Oh!" He gestured at Lydia if she was there. "You'll want to hand out the wings."

Those students hoping for actual, cool wings might be disappointed; they were magically enchanted water wings. But they still let you fly!

"First one there gets the satisfaction of being the first one there," Bob announced. "It's not like I had much time to plan."

This week didn't find the class back in the tavern as before. Oh no, instead, it was on the high seas! Hopefully no one got sea sick easily.

"Today is about alternate forms of combat!" Jaskier shouted over the sound of the waves. Because wow, the programming was committed to being on the high seas.

"Sometimes violence isn't the answer," Cara added grudgingly. Not because she didn't think they weren't about to learn a valuable skill, but because this meant agreeing with Jaskier. "Sometimes you have to be subtle."

Of course, everyone here was in the wrong class for subtle.

What even was subtle? Don't know her.

"Seduction!" Jaskier said brightly. "Which is perfectly viable even with evil goat men, I've found." Ya'll better be glad it was Cara in this class and not Sea Hawk.

You'd already be singing Krampy Baby, guys.

"Your task today will be to convince the pirate captain to let you leave with your lives and most of your dignity intact," Cara said. "One way or another."

As if on cue, a second ship appeared along the one they were one and a bejewelled, pantless pirate swung over the side to land on the deck in a very rakish, dashing manner. "Time to surrender, sweet things!"

Cara frowned at the Danger Shop remote. She could've sworn she'd chosen a different pirate captain.
