"Hello again, everyone," Anakin said as Ben waved, "and welcome to our second trip. Today we are traveling to--" he smacked the map out in front of the Portalocity office, pointing to somewhere vaguely Africa, "Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso. Please go through the portal, pick up your live chickens, and prepare to race!"

"Wait, their what?" Ben asked, blinking.

"Live chickens," Anakin said.

"Your brain absolutely terrifies me," Ben said.

You--and your chicken--head to Bouda Pelegtanga (Peletanga Market) to choose your activity. In Shake Your Pans, you have to use traditional methods to pan for one ounce (28 g) of gold you can trade for the next clue. In Shake Your Booty, you have to learn a traditional local dance and perform it with Winiama masked dancers for a crowd of locals. You only had one attempt, and if three local celebrity judges feel you dance lacks creativity or is a bad performance, you will incur a 10-minute penalty. After successfully performing the dance or waiting out the penalty, you will receive their next clue.

Also there is zero chance your chicken has stayed in one place as you did this activity.

Live chickens aside, Troy was definitely feeling like there was absolutely no way he could go wrong with anything that involved shaking his booty.

Troy, of course, had been wrong.

In part because there really was no such thing as 'live chickens aside,' and in part because, apparently, krumping was not 'traditional' enough for those 'celebrity' judges.

Celebrity? Then how come he'd never heard of them? Ummm, checkmate, Burkino Faso! So there.

Enola had no idea what a booty was until she caught on from others the context. And despite her more modern thinking for someone from the Victorian era, she elected to go with panning for gold.

Enola had a stroke of luck when it came to "shaking her pans" and was able to get a big lump of gold within a few moments of trying. And luckily her chicken (which she had dubbed 'Mycroft') had not wandered too far away as part of the process.

Nell was NOT shaking her booty. Definitelt not something even a church woman who wasn't a church woman any more would do. So she panned for gold,

And then had to chase down her chicken.

You (and your chicken) now need to get to the outskirts of the market where you will find a bunch of bicycles that have seen better days. Next to them you will find a comically large amount of goods (fresh tomatoes, a giant bag of rice, a 2 liter container of vegetable oil, and a live goat) that you have to balance onto the bike--along with your chicken--and deliver them to people located several blocks away.

Please, please don't get hit by any other people on bicycles, the taxis or local minibuses. And don't give away your chicken.

Bike riding. Why did it have to be bike riding? Granted Enola knew how to ride a bike but it was never her best skill. Adding on the items and dealing with an ever increasing irritating Mycroft meant that she fell off her bike. A lot. Like every ten to fifteen feet.

"This is ridiculous."

After the utter lack of appreciation for krumping during the dance-off, Troy knew he (and his chicken, he was named Charles now, Charles the Chicken) had to really step it up, and he was a little nervous about where the could possibly be headed for him, but he just threw everything on the bike and started going and just threw caution to the wind, because sometimes, you just had to trust in pure dumb luck.

Especially the dumb part, because that was where he could really excel at times!

Nell had never ridden a bike before and therefore spent a large amount of time falling off and having to reload everything.

And her skirts. Long skirts and bikes were never a good mix.

You'll find Ben and Anakin outside the Hotel de Ville, which would be easy-ish to find except for how no streets are labeled anywhere and it was very easy to get turned around. They had faith in you! And coffees to drink while they waited.

In the end it was Mycroft the chicken that spelled Enola's doom and placing in the class' activity. She arrived exhausted, irritated and with multiple peck marks on her face.

"Am I allowed to keep my chicken?" she asked as she approached her instructors.

Judging by the tone, a lot of harm might be coming for that particular chicken.

Ben had a very bad feeling about that, yeah, so he piped up before Anakin could say anything. "Let's leave the chickens here," he said. "You're seventh today."

Good thinking, Ben.

Enola held out the chicken who seemed grateful to get away from Enola. "His or her name is Mycroft. Feel free to use him as you see fit. As long as I no longer have to deal with him."

Chicken Mycroft and the real Mycroft seemed to have the same tendencies to annoy Enola.

"Charles," Troy scolded his chicken at one point after he realized he wasn't even sure they were even in the same city anymore, "you are terrible at this. Aren't you supposed to be from here?"

Well. That's what he got for trusting a chicken as a navigator.

She just seemed so legit, though!

Eventually, though, he ditched the idea of listening to the chicken and that was when he finally made it to the check-in point, shaking his head and feeling like an idiot for having so much faith in poultry.

"Welcome," Anakin said. "Finally."

After wobbling her way through her delivery finally, a rather bruised and banged up Nell stomped her way through the streets not even getting turned around once, somehow.

She offered up her chicken as she sank onto the ground to rest. "Here. She's yours."
