Today there was a movie all queued up for the class. Because it was one of those days, folks. It was one if those days.

Also every time they'd tried starting up the tavern sim, NPCakin had started crying. Which, you know, awkward.

But the movie began to magically play once everyone was there because, it was possible, your teachers were on their own fun adventure somewhere else. Or they maybe got arrested. Which was also an adventure!

The kind of adventure that ended (or maybe started) with vast amounts of property destruction.

So, enjoy watching a movie that may not have aged well!

"Morning, everyone," Amaya greeted the class with her usual faintly excited grin and a nod of her head, a solidifying pound of her fist into her palm. "And welcome back. Hope you're all ready to dive into another interesting weapon from film, because this one's kind of a doozy and also a little bit of a favorite of mine, because I might even go so far as to say that this movie is the one that sort of started this whole spark inside of me to try to recreate some of the interesting weapons I've seen in films, and therefor the whole reason any of us are standing here in this workshop today. Now, we'll obviously be doing a toned down version of what you'll be seeing," said, of course, with a faint grin of apology to her students who she knew were very interested in the more practical applications of the weapons they fiddled around wtih, "but I think you'll understand why when we get to the movie. Some things are just a little bit harder to translate into real life, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun with it.

"So, without further ado, let's all get comfortable to watch a few clips and then we'll get right to it."

And once everyone was settled, she went ahead and pushed play.

Today the teachers had just embraced the glitter that came along with the arts and crafts world. Or maybe it was just giving in. One of those two was the accurate one, but we'll never tell which. But either way, there was a lot of glitter and glue and a variety of things to which one could affix glitter to.

"Steve, why are there mousepads?" Tony asked with growing fear.

"They're really cute, aren't they?" Steve said enthusiastically, picking up on that he'd done up with the Avenger's logo.

"Yes, but--wait, did you want to put glitter on that?" Class. Class, don't you do this to him.

"It's a class about glitter, so yes, Tony," Steve said patiently.

"No," Tony said very quietly, but with great emphasis. His poor computers would die if that amount of glitter got near them. He just knew it!

Steve got a crease between his eyebrows. "Why not?"

Tony just gave him A Look and faintly glittered despite not touching it anymore than to set it out for the class. This was why. This right here was why, Steve. "Let's just get started and avoid the very nice mousepads, alright?"

"Today we're going to the United Arab Emirates," Anakin said, pronouncing it carefully. "A desert country."

He made a little face. So much sand. Ugh.

"Put on some sunscreen, grab your sunhats so you don't catch fire and die--" that's not a real thing, "--and hop through the portal."
