All Things Beach- Monday- 1st period

"Okay," Kitty greeted them, from where she was standing in front of a giant ass beach ball. "Today was going to be a day for beach games and then they sent me this instead and uh. So you're going to get to figure out what to do with it this week."

This was not the Danger Shop. It was real, and it was ridiculous.

Climbing & Caving, Monday Period 3

There was no portal and no Danger Shop today. Just a classroom, a TV, and a movie. Also some snacks and drinks, because Liam figured if he was going to make his students sit through an awful film, they ought to at least get something out of it, even if that something was junk food.

"I'm told this movie is an excellent example of what not to do when climbing, so please. Don't take it seriously."

Library, Monday

Tip had promised Astrid more book recommendations next time she stopped by, and as a result ended up spending most of her night thinking about different authors she'd forgotten to recommend. So today she was setting up her very first library recommendation display full of black female authors, making full use of google as she went to make sure she got in some good realistic authors, since her own tastes tended to run towards magical realism and flat-out fantasy.

Which admittedly were a lot more "realistic" in terms of Fandom, but probably wouldn't be seen as such by people like Astrid.

She ended up with way more books than she could fit onto one small table display, and ended up sitting on the floor in front of it, reading through the back covers and first couple chapters of the ones she hadn't read yet to try and pick which should get included. But really, how did you pick just one Nalo Hopkinson? Or Zora Neale Hurston? Or Roxanne Gay? Or . . . .

This was probably going to be Tip's least productive and yet favorite library shift ever.

"I was going to do a final today, I remember that was the sort of thing we did," Edward said, leaning easily against the wheel. "But that's not quite in the spirit of this class, is it?"

He motioned vaguely at the sea ahead. "No, I'll leave today's class in your hands," he said. "You've got this ship at your disposal today. What would you like to do with it?"

Pause.

"The one with the best suggestion wins."
