"Okay, class. Cryptids. Important things, sure. Like this obvious murder seal from Ireland and there is no way in hell I'm gonna even try to say the name of. Dober-chu? Sounds like a Pokemon," Deadpool mostly just rambled at the class. Because he was focused on more important things.

"But now I have a super important assignment for you. I need you all to run recon for me on the new guidance counselor who stole my office." She did nothing of the sort. "Viciously stole it. I was heartbroken."

Trust nothing this man says, kids.

"They can't acknowledge you, narrative."

Damn it.

"So, easy A for the semester," he continued. "Help me get my office back. And maybe learn about Irish murder seals."

Amazingly enough, Khadgar had run out of books to read. At least, he'd read through all the books he'd taken from the library on Fandom history, Earth holidays, and food. (He was so ready for this "Thanksgiving" thing, oh yes.)

After wandering through the library in search of a new subject, he ended up in the true crime section, and after glancing at just a few summaries, he came out with an armful of books and an excited look on his face. Reading about other people being terrible made him feel so much better about himself and his own troubles, in a way, and he'd surely pick his head up out of whatever he was reading if someone came by.

Today, the Danger Shop looked a lot less like a workshop, and a lot more like a very fancy gambling den.

"I know I've brought up resources a couple of times already, kids," Aphra said. "But cash flow is very important, parts, power, food, they all add up. So you've got to look at your options there.

"Now, obviously the most logical way to get your hands on some credits is by selling your finished work, but of course you need something to sell in the first place, so that's a long term goal." Plus, by now they should have figured out that long term planning was not always Aphra's strong suit. "You've got some other options for start up capital, like grants and loans, but you're just as likely to get caught by the small print and end up never seeing a single cred-chip, there's getting a job, but that's boring and will cut down on the time you spend working on artifacts, running scams and pulling heists are always fun and lucrative, but apparently I'm 'not supposed to encourage unethical or illegal behaviour', and there's also gambling. Which is a terrible, risky idea, but a lot of fun."

So guess what you were doing?
