Khadgar had started looking for something to read today with the best of intentions.
He'd been thinking about the upcoming start of a new term, which got him looking at old transcripts from radio broadcasts of previous semesters, in case there was something he could prepare for. The mention of strange rain during a fire drill got him looking at weather reports from Fandom, which got him studying how the seasons of this world worked (since he still didn't understand how some places just didn't have snow or tropical temperatures all the time), and somehow that had all snowballed into his current situation, reading through websites documenting all the ongoing unusual effects of global warming and how no one was doing anything to stop it.
He'd probably be able to tear himself away if someone came in, but this was kind of endlessly fascinating.
