You only need to fill out the parts that are relevant to the type of character you are applying for (ie: if you're a student applicant, don't fill in the stuff marked 'Townies Only').

If you don't get a confirmation email from us within 24 hours, please email us!

Applications close August 14th at 11:59pm Pacific. The next application session for students and teachers after this will be for the fall semester in December.

"Master Solo is taking a personal day," Anakin said when the Flight class assembled on the beach, hands folded into his sleeves. "Since the last week has been...especially trying...I've decided to have you do something fun today."
He smiled. "Parasailing."

Anakin's idea of fun might not be everyone's idea of fun.

He waved to the speedboat driver. "Chet--" of course his name was Chet, "--will give you a quick safety briefing, and then you'll get to go for a ride around the island."

Practical Philosophy, Monday

"I'm... still not completely sure what happened last week," Ender admitted.

This did not happen often, folks.

"There might be a discussion topic in here somewhere about chaos, friendship and harmony," he volunteered, "But I think today we'll have an open floor, and you can talk about what you want."

He shoved a bottle forward. "Please. Make sure to hydrate."

God only knew what being a pony could do to you.

Gymnastics is Life, Danger Shop, Period 3

Week 2 of Gymnastics-is-Life class, and the same set up was in the Danger Shop-- but with a bit more emphasis on various balance beams, stationary on the floor, or high up over nets and moving. There were also the rafters, if you cared to dare your way up there.

"Balance beams. Great for learning, well, balance. Also not looking at your feet. If you wind up in construction work, or doing any kind of outdoor climbing, this is going to serve you well." Parker gestured with one toe to the smallest beam, only three inches off the floor, on top of springy mats. "You might want to practice on this about ten times, before you move up to this one." She pointed toward the balance beam four feet off the ground, then started to demonstrate. "This might be easier for the girls than the guys, because you're trying to balance with your upper body. Guys have their center of gravity in their shoulders, so it might take some more practice."

A wider beam only 8" off the floor was also in place, as well as the moving beams on chains up above.

"Once you get comfortable, and haven't fallen off several times in a row, try something else. Maybe a cartwheel, maybe a handstand. I'll be watching each person, but if you want a spotter on the other side of the beam too, that's fine."

"And there are cupcakes today!"
