Practical Philosophy, Monday
"I'm... still not completely sure what happened last week," Ender admitted.
This did not happen often, folks.
"There might be a discussion topic in here somewhere about chaos, friendship and harmony," he volunteered, "But I think today we'll have an open floor, and you can talk about what you want."
He shoved a bottle forward. "Please. Make sure to hydrate."
God only knew what being a pony could do to you.

Re: Talk.
He'd been through a few of these. "What happened to you?"
Re: Talk.
"... A rock," she muttered. "A big one. I was moving it and made a minor miscalculation."
Minor. The sort of minor miscalculation that would have killed a normal person under the same circumstances.

"It's not lost, it's just... misplaced, somewhere." That was sort of the same thing and she knew it. But one meant that she had a chance of finding it again. She needed that. "I'll head back out to the rocky area to look for it after class. I was running late."
Or... hobbling late. Walking was hard when you were missing a foot.

Re: Talk.
She frowned a little bit. Talking about Gem societal norms and even their own odd take on biology was all fine and good. Admitting that she was basically a meter-tall with hair included and she wore extra attachments to her limbs to make her taller was a different matter entirely.
So, instead, she reached an arm down and used those free-floating fingers of hers to knock on the lower leg piece that wasn't missing a foot. The sound that it made was distinctly metallic and hollow. Then she moved her hand up and did the same to her thigh, getting a much more sedate, fleshy sound.
Re: Talk.
Though since Peridot seemed disinclined to say it out loud, he wasn't going to embarrass her by doing it instead. "I'm sorry," he said. "Please let me know if you need any help finding it? My partner's senses are very well attuned; he's good at finding things."
Why not abuse the Force for something useful?
Re: Talk.
It would make a great cereal bowl! Or a planter!
"But if I can't find it..." She frowned, not sure what to make of the offer. Apparently, assists in personal matters like this weren't something she got many of. "... I'll come find you. Thank you."
Re: Talk.
Ender offered her a faint smile.
"In any event," he said, "You didn't miss anything important."
He had absolutely no idea what might have happened to Peridot had she been around for it all, honestly.
Re: Talk.
"Well... good. Then I won't worry about it."
