Well, the class should start getting used to music just being on while they showed up to be taught at. Or rambled at. Same thing.

"Okay, so today we're going to be looking at songs used to woo that special lady. Or gentleman. Or maybe sentient being of some variety. I'm not judging you--that's a lie, I'm judging you a lot if it's a stuffed animal or one of those body pillows."

Those things were just so creepy.

"So, the task for today is to come up with the song that would play in the background while you look at the future love of your life for the first time," Deadpool said, holding up his hands like he was framing it for a movie. "Or seeing them for the first time after they got hot." Which was a great trope, to be honest. But not as important here.

Another song blasted out of his phone at that. "Ooops, saving that sucker for the sequel. Get brainstorming, you little rapscallions. Blow my fucking mind." A beat. "Oh, and Mabel is the TA. Because I want to see where this goes."

"Last weekend, many of us were suddenly deprived of something we rely on every day," Ender said, once everyone had arrived on the scene. "For some of us, clothes are no greatly important business - they're just what we put on in the morning to escape the cold and public indecency."

He smiled wryly, picking up a bottle of water out of the grass. "For others, though, they are vitally important. They can indicate class or status; employment and culture. Even outside of this, clothes are often considered indicators of our personality-- a way for us to show the world who we are without having to start speaking, first."

He took a sip of water. "Now, some peoples have absolutely no problems with nudity, while for others it is one of the greatest sins possible. I don't know where your people fall on this scale, or how you feel on the matter. What do clothes mean to your society? Do they mean the same thing to you? Was last weekend a troubling experience, or no big deal?"

He put the bottle back down. "Or, if you're not interested in talking about that, just tell me how your week's been."

This class was easy like that.

Class today had met in the Danger Shop, set up to look like a lovely English garden.

"Right, so." Bob clapped his hands together. "I was told for at least one of you, singing is fun." He nodded to Steven assuming he's there. "So, that's what we'll do today. Sing."

He grinned. You probably guessed it wasn't going to be that simple, right?

"Somewhere in here is a little round stone. Well, quite a lot of them, really. But one of them's the one you need to find. First to find it gets dinner for two in town. Or at that silly place we've docked, whichever you prefer." Which would cost him less, but whatever. After all, it wasn't like he had much to spend money on. Most of it went back to Harry for rent.

"In order to find it, you'll have to sing. There are enchanted plants and statues, trees and fence-posts, all around." He waved generally at the place. "If you sing at them, they'll sing you back clues. If you sing at other things, well, you'll just be standing there singing." Possibly looking a little silly, but that wasn't his problem.

Bob beamed at them. "Off you go!"
