When students arrived,  the danger shop didn't look like anything in particular. Just a big, empty room. Pretty boring,  to be honest.

"Welcome to Tactics and Teamwork," Washington said. "I'm Agent Washington,  your instructor. We'll have further introductions after running drills. Get to it."

Cardio was important when it came to not dying, kids! Just be glad he didn't have time to plan out the perfect obstacle course for you as well.

This was also a good way to gauge the fitness levels of the class. Just... don't puke or anything. He wasn't going to clean that up. Only once laps were completed was everyone presented with a very basic set of body armor in either red or blue and a paintball gun with the same color bullets. Fair warning, even with the armor, it would still sting.

"I'm aware that there is an uneven number of students in this class, so for the purposes of team exercises, there will be a simulation soldier programmed into the system to assist you," Washington said. "For this class, I want to see where your skills are at working in working as a cohesive team against one another. The objective is to remove all the opponents on the other team from play by hitting them with the paintball gun."

The room changed into... well, pretty much like it was before. Only this time, there were large storage crates scattered around for cover.

"I'll be keeping an eye on your progress and will step in should anyone get too... enthusiastic."

When students arrived in the Danger Shop, they'd find a good half of the floor covered in mats, and Lady Ghanima waiting for them; her usual gowns abandoned in favor of a light tunic and trousers, and bare feet. Off to the side was a table full of water bottles and fruit, in case anyone got light headed or had skipped breakfast today.

"Welcome to Physical Education," she announced, once everyone had gathered. "If you have not had one of my classes before, you may call me Lady Ghanima, Miss Ghanima, or Miss Atreides, whichever you are more comfortable with given your cultural preferences," Ghanima announced, smiling. "Lady Atreides is my grandmother, and I will not answer to it. For those of you whom I have had in class before, welcome back."

"I shall give you fair warning now: this is not a place for those with delicate sensibilities. You will hit the mat. You may go home bruised, bleeding, and sore. You may not feel good about yourself at the end of the day. You will, however, hopefully achieve some form of physical or mental catharsis through physical activity. If you're lucky, you'll also be less-likely to die when faced with a superior opponent."

Because Fandom.

"Which means the first thing you need to learn is this: everyone falls down. Everyone. Whether it's when you're first learning to walk, tripping over a rock, or falling out of a tree. People fall every day, and it's not the end of the world. Why, then, are we so afraid of hitting the earth? Is it fear of injury or fear of failure?" she asked, looking at each of them. "Falling down is not failing, simply because it is not possible to excel in throwing, or to defend against an attack successfully, without a thorough understanding of falling and how it works. So today, we'll start with a very basic item that is actually rarely taught. How to fall properly so that you need not fear injury."

Stepping up to the mats, Ghanima proceeded to demonstrate three ways of falling, starting out slow and then speeding each one up to real-time. "Pick one and start slowly," she said, dusting off her hands as she sat down on the edge of the mat. "Don't try to master all three at once. If you're already well-versed in these three techniques, pick a partner who is also skilled, and practice tossing each other."

"Miss Lightwood here is my teaching assistant, and you can feel free to direct any questions to her if I'm helping someone else. Go ahead and begin."

"Hello and welcome to Pointy End AWAY From You," Anakin began, dressed in slightly more casual clothing today, which meant he'd ditched the robe and was only in the rest of the Jedi uniform ("how to drop your robe like an absolute drama queen, OBI-WAN" was a class for later). "If you were under the misimpression this was a workshop on not running with scissors, you're out of luck."

Obi-Wan, on the other hand, was wearing the full ensemble. (And EXCUSE YOU, Anakin, you had perfected the drama queen robe-drop.) "Rather, we are here to examine some of the fundamental types of weaponry you may come into contact with," he said, "and how to use them responsibly, so that no one accidentally loses a limb."

Deliberately, on the other hand...

Just stand there and gloat with all your original limbs, Obi-Wan. No biggie. Anakin crossed his arms over his chest (replacement ones that Obi-Wan HADN'T cut off) and nodded. "In the grand tradition of the first week of classes, we want to get an idea of your experience. If you've never stabbed a guy before--" his face said "amateur" even if his mouth didn't, "--or if you've been doing hand-to-hand combat since you could walk...it'll change how we teach you."

"And please let us know your name and the regularity of violence in your home universe, as well," Obi-Wan said.

Yes, with all of his original limbs. Which had never gotten chopped off. Not even once. (Thus proving that in the field of limb removal, Anakin was an outlier and should not be counted.)
