Elsa looked fairly puzzled by the time Hannibal's other students filed into the classroom. She'd gotten a message that morning saying that Doctor Lecter wouldn't be in today, and asking if she would be so kind as to put a movie on for the class. There had even been a DVD for her to put in and everything, and while she really hadn't ever worked with a DVD player before, she'd more or less managed to push enough buttons to figure it all out before class.

"Doctor Lecter couldn't make it in for today's lesson," she said, looking only a little over her head at the front of the room, "but he left us a movie to watch, and I made some popcorn for the occasion. And tea... if you're the sort of person who enjoys tea with their popcorn. He didn't give a reason for his absence, but I'm sure he'll be back to teach us more again next week."

And with that, she hit play.

Today, class was not meeting in the Danger Shop. Class was meeting in a regular, normal classroom, and only the slightly saner half of the teaching staff even showed up.

"Cheryl's in the preserve," Pam announced, looking fairly grumpy about it. "She got, like, really high, like I mean really high, even for her?, and then she decided at like one AM that she was a tree, and she stripped naked and ran out into the preserve and is screaming something about her leaves peeling off."
