That Bond had spent the previous two days either collecting extortion money from people or breaking kneecaps when payment wasn't forthcoming, and had had a relatively quiet weekend compared to others, had nothing to do with his email telling the class to meet him outside Chilly Boulder. It was the weather, that was all he was going to say on the matter.

"Good afternoon. Not all summertime activities are as fast paced or well, active, as the ones we've engaged in over the past few weeks," he began. "Some are deliberately slow and relaxing, enabling a person to keep cool in the heat, and today's rain and heat, it makes sense to try one of them. Today's in particular has been around in some form or another for several thousand years."

"So go in, pick out some flavours to try and see which you enjoy the most."

Sam was waiting in the Danger Shop once again and was on his phone while everyone filed in and got settled. Once class started, he put the phone away.

"Morning and welcome back," he said, nodding. "Sounds like you guys had a pretty swell weekend, huh? Reminds me of the days I was here and dealing with that. If you ended up dead, you're now in a very elite club. Anyway, hope you didn't get too shook up."

With that said, Sam jumped right into the place. "Today, we're going to enjoy a few rounds of street luge. If you know what luge is, then you'll probably get an idea what street luge is. Basically, we're going to take a luge board, which is easier to just call a sled, and we're gonna ride it done a paved course. You ride down on your back and, if we're lucky, we might be able to hit speeds of forty to ninety seven miles an hour."

Before getting the sim started, Sam went through a list of equipment and ways to be safe while on the luge board. He didn't want anyone getting hurt despite them being in the Danger Shop. "Try it at least once and then, try it again to beat your time! Have fun!"

The sim was started and the street luge course loomed large above the students, ready for each of them to have their turn.

Instead of Kate, the students would see someone who might be familiar if they took her class last semester. If not, well, they'd see a strange man who was jotting down a few notes and sending messages to Kate to make sure everything was all right. When it was time to start her class, he looked up and smiled.

"Hullo," he greeted, giving the class a nod. "My name is Nobody Owens and I am most definitely not Kate. Kate, unfortunately, had to attend a very important business meeting have to do with her employment back in Kansas. She couldn't attend today and asked that I come out here to help her. So, here I am. I was a student back here a long time ago and I taught one of her classes last term as well so hopefully I'm not terrible at this."

He took a breath and looked down at his notes. "All right, today we're going to be sell lemonade!" So, let's go outside. Hey, it was summer and he'd seen lemonade stands on television before so it only seemed right. Once they were outside, they'd find a few pre-made stands and ingredients to make lemonade.

"So, your ask for today is to prepare your lemonade however you'd like it. A lot of sugar, little sugar and a lot of lemon, little ice, lots of ice, whatever and then you have to set a price for your lemonade and then it's time to sell! We'll see if anyone makes a profit by the class end."

He didn't think it would happen but it was going to be a hot one so maybe he'd be surprised.

Pinkie greeted the class with a tip of her classy old-timey hat. Unlike some, Pinkie had managed to keep some of her duds from the weekend. Or possibly regenerate them in some sort of weird fourth-wall breaking cartoon gag.

"Alright, fellas, get in your seats, see?" she sneered with an outrageous accent. "It's time for class!"

"Oh for the love of god," Derek said, covering his face with one hand. How was this his life? Just how?

BECAUSE YOU LOVED IT, DEREK. YOU LOVED THE INSANITY AND THE GLITTER. MOSTLY THE GLITTER.

It was a fact. Pinkie's classes contained at least 20% less glitter when Derek wasn't in them.

"Shut it, you dirty rat," Pinkie said cheerfully. "I'm trying to teach a class, see?"

She didn't even talk like this when she WAS noir.

Derek sighed the sigh of someone who was reconsidering every single choice he'd made in his life that brought him to this point. "Today we're weaving trivets," he ground out, staring up at the ceiling because it was preferable to his life.

Oh god. His life.

"We're makin' potholders this week, see. Potholders for teapots. So get some loops and get weaving! This tea ain't gonna party itself!"

That didn't even make sense.

"Good afternoon," Anakin said a little dryly. "I trust none of you are planning to serenade me this week. And if you're wondering, my daughter has been singing Little Bunny Foo Foo for almost 24 straight hours now, but at least it's a break from the animated princess movie soundtrack, so it's almost okay." He glared at the students. "Not that you should be encouraged to do it in the first place."

Frakking Bel.

He gestured at the (really steep, fairly terrifying) cliff he'd programmed the Danger Shop to produce . "We're going hang gliding today."

Okay, so maybe Anakin was still a slightly petty bastard and this was payback for Emma's serenade last week.

After explaining how hang gliding worked--"Hook yourself to the glider, don't fall off and die-- (super helpful!), he waved a hand. "Get to it."
