"Good afternoon," Anakin said a little dryly. "I trust none of you are planning to serenade me this week. And if you're wondering, my daughter has been singing Little Bunny Foo Foo for almost 24 straight hours now, but at least it's a break from the animated princess movie soundtrack, so it's almost okay." He glared at the students. "Not that you should be encouraged to do it in the first place."

Frakking Bel.

He gestured at the (really steep, fairly terrifying) cliff he'd programmed the Danger Shop to produce . "We're going hang gliding today."

Okay, so maybe Anakin was still a slightly petty bastard and this was payback for Emma's serenade last week.

After explaining how hang gliding worked--"Hook yourself to the glider, don't fall off and die-- (super helpful!), he waved a hand. "Get to it."

Will had hustled back from Wisconsin with images of Nepsted and his tears still in his head. It was depressing and sad but he was trying to put it out of his mind so he could concentrate on the instructions here.

Emma thought throwing students off cliffs was a bit extreme as payback went.

Please put the wings on first.

This sort of activity was just what Will needed. He got himself geared up and then took a flying leap without any hesitation. This was easy. The rest of his life was hard.

FLYING!!! WITH WINGS OF HER OWN!!!

Kaylin was going to jump off this cliff and fly as long as Anakin let her. He just might have to bodily toss her out at the end of class. Or, you know, shut off the simulation.

So, when Kira had thought about good distractions, this hadn't really been on the list. She put the wings on without too much trouble, but actually jumping... she was just going to need a minute.

It's what he's for.

Zoe peeked her head in towards the end of class, and gave Anakin a sweet, kind smile. "Your workshop seems to be going well this term." Not that his classes didn't usually go well, but he also didn't usually have someone causing him murderous thoughts every week.

"I haven't killed anyone," Anakin said with a wry smile to his mouth and the "yet" in that sentence definitely hanging in the air.

"That's good. Always a promising start to the week," she said. "Out of curiosity, on a scale of 1 to 10, how mad are you that I let that Bel class go through?"

Sorry Anakin, but it had made her laugh!

"Depends on the class he picks," Anakin said. "Last week was a solid, clanging, pink bunny filled 8."

It was only through sheer practice of managing a poker face that she didn't laugh like she wanted to. "Well, look at it this way, it's a short summer term?" she offered. "So you'll only have to deal with him for a few more weeks." Probably.

"And then I can toss him into the pond?" Anakin asked hopefully.

"What you do in the end is none of my business. You're both adults." Technically. Emotionally, maybe not so much.

Currently their emotional maturity was hovering around age 10.

He gave Zoe a slight smirk. "Good to hear."

Are you having a bad feeling, Bel?

Joker hobbled up to Anakin. "Yeah, this? So not gonna happen. Instead, can I do the X-Wing run again? I'm not happy with my time on it. I know I can do better."

The two year old has eaten 13 pancakes in two days. WTF, kid.
