"Good afternoon," Anakin said a little dryly. "I trust none of you are planning to serenade me this week. And if you're wondering, my daughter has been singing Little Bunny Foo Foo for almost 24 straight hours now, but at least it's a break from the animated princess movie soundtrack, so it's almost okay." He glared at the students. "Not that you should be encouraged to do it in the first place."

Frakking Bel.

He gestured at the (really steep, fairly terrifying) cliff he'd programmed the Danger Shop to produce . "We're going hang gliding today."

Okay, so maybe Anakin was still a slightly petty bastard and this was payback for Emma's serenade last week.

After explaining how hang gliding worked--"Hook yourself to the glider, don't fall off and die-- (super helpful!), he waved a hand. "Get to it."

"I haven't killed anyone," Anakin said with a wry smile to his mouth and the "yet" in that sentence definitely hanging in the air.

"That's good. Always a promising start to the week," she said. "Out of curiosity, on a scale of 1 to 10, how mad are you that I let that Bel class go through?"

"Depends on the class he picks," Anakin said. "Last week was a solid, clanging, pink bunny filled 8."

It was only through sheer practice of managing a poker face that she didn't laugh like she wanted to. "Well, look at it this way, it's a short summer term?" she offered. "So you'll only have to deal with him for a few more weeks." Probably.
