"Greetings, grasshoppers," Oz said as his class arrived in the classroom. "We're coming up on our final class together, which means it's time for you to get your final assignment, and it's a doozy." Which was always so comforting coming from Oz.

"In front of each of you is a slip of paper with a name. I want you to read that name, memorise it, and not tell anyone else what it is. Eat it if you feel that will preserve the mystery. You can look at your slips, now." Once the class had had a chance to, Oz continued. "Your assignment is in two parts, the first part is to plan and execute a prank against the person who's name was on your slip of paper before next week's class, preferably while remaining anonymous. It doesn't have to be a big one, and nothing dangerous, but something that will clearly be a prank to its victim. Clear?"

"The second part of your assigment is to plan your retaliation. You won't actually be carrying it out so escalate as far as you want. In fact over the top and overly complex plans are encouraged. Then in our final class you will present this plan for revenge and name you you believe the guilty party is. You will get extra marks for either correctly naming the guilty party or avoiding blame. You do both? Then you win at pranks."

"One final thing, you want to team up to get our victim? I' not going to stop you, just remember, you don't know who you're supposed to be the victim of."

Irony ruled the day. Class was in an actual classroom today, but it wasn't really a real class. The TV was set up in the front of the room. There was popcorn available. And on the board was a message:

Even if you're prepared to work at all times, your sidekicks need some time to be themselves. Remember to give them a break occasionally so they can stay sharp until they fully develop.

Press play.

That was Batman's way of saying 'Movie Day.' And today's movie was very appropriate, at least as titles go...

The Danger Shop was in its usual setup when the students came in - targets and bows and Clint with his arms, oh my - and Clint looked like he'd almost caught up on his jet lag. Thank goodness the weekend was coming.

"I don't know about you guys, but the end of this session kind of snuck up on me," Clint said as everyone filed in. "I'm not going to make you take a final or anything, so just keep practicing like you've been doing. Try to challenge yourself if you want to and if you need any help, I'm right here."

"Today we're going to talk about physical evidence," Jack said, once the class was gathered in the Danger Shop. It had been programmed to look like a rather messy bargain hotel room, and he handed each student a detecting kit as they walked in. "Physical evidence is anything you can touch that helps prove a point about -- whatever it is you're investigating. It can be documents, fingerprints, DNA, a possession left at the scene of a crime, or a weapon if the case involved weapons."

"What you're doing today is investigating this room to try to find everything you can about the person who stayed here last, who you have reason to believe is a thief. You have fingerprint powder, tweezers and evidence bags, as well as magnifying glasses. Once you're done looking, we'll come back together and discuss what we found."

"A Mummy..." Why yes, Drac was still dealing with the monsters that were his BFFs. Why? BECAUSE HIS ORIGINAL LESSON PLAN HAD BEEN ALL ON THE EVILS OF HUMANS! He felt he'd adjusted it well, though. "Is a monster that technically is a human; it's a corpse that is reanimated, similar to a zombie. But, where the zombie is decayed and often missing parts, the mummy is actually preserved. Many times, to the point you cannot tell if they are actually dead or not."

"While mummification can happen all over the world, and even sometimes naturally, not every mummified human becomes a Mummy. Here is where the strangeness of the human mind comes into play: Mummies, according to humans, come from Egypt."

"For once?" Drac shrugged at the class. "They're right. Now for the rest."

His notes rose from the desk and came to his hand. )
