Irony ruled the day. Class was in an actual classroom today, but it wasn't really a real class. The TV was set up in the front of the room. There was popcorn available. And on the board was a message:

Even if you're prepared to work at all times, your sidekicks need some time to be themselves. Remember to give them a break occasionally so they can stay sharp until they fully develop.

Press play.

That was Batman's way of saying 'Movie Day.' And today's movie was very appropriate, at least as titles go...

Oh, Stephanie realized it! It just took her a minute, because she was staring at the board in total surprise.

How come she didn't get the Batman who remembered these things?

(He did, actually. Sometimes. She was just too concerned with living up to his expectations to realize it.)

He's actually in the room. He's just very well hidden. So you can theoretically talk to him, but he's not likely to answer.

No, seriously, he's in the duct. Why? Shut up. What are you, stupid? He's the goddamn Batman. If he wants to hang out in a duct while a movie is playing, he goddamn can.

This probably explains why the air conditioning in the classroom doesn't seem to be working.
