Pinkie Pie had her class meeting up in one of the regular classrooms, today, in which some kind soul with actual fingers had set up an old movie projector and screen. Pinkie herself was manning a cartoonishly old fashioned popcorn cart that appeared to have gone horribly wrong, somewhere down the line, and was now overflowing with rapid fire popping kernels.

"Hi --" Pinkie dodged a particularly large flying kernel, then popped back up, looking unphased. "Everypony! Today --" *POP* "-- We're going to --" *POP* "-- play a really --" *POPOPOPOPOP* "-- fun game, called --" *POP* "-- watching a movie!"

Yep, that's right, competitive movie watching.

"I picked a really --" *POP* "-- fun sounding --" *POPOP* "-- movie for you --" *POPOPOPOP* "-- so sit back, relax, and --" *PPPPPPOPPPPPPP* "-- eat some popcorn before we're all buried alive!"

Pinkie put actions to words, managing to catch enough popcorn to more than triple the size of her cheeks, then smiled at the students around the mouthful and hit play on the projector.

"Whoever watches the whole movie first wins!"

[ooc: yep. OCD's a go-go.]

Kennedy had sent a note out to the students telling them to meet at the shooting range today, and if anyone happened to show up at the Danger Shop instead they'd encounter a smirking holographic simulation of her telling them to go to the range instead. Once there they'd find bows, armguards, and all the necessary safety equipment laid out, and Kennedy waiting by a pair of archery targets with her arms crossed, all business.

Well, there was a large cup of coffee within her reach, but otherwise she was all business.

"Kinda been on an Olympics binge," she admitted with a smothered yawn and a not at all apologetic grin. "So I thought we'd combine a couple of things that are relevant to my interests for today." Because it was her class, and she could. So ha.

"Any of you catch the team archery competitions? Because that, let me tell you: prime drama. So that's what we're gonna do today. But. Not before we go over the safety rules, so listen up." In her best no-nonsense tone Kennedy went over the rules and general scoring concepts with them, and she was not above repeating key phrases. Once she was reasonably satisfied that she'd made her point to them she nodded and gestured to the equipment. "I'm going to count you off, one-two, for teams. Got it, people? Okay. Let's have some pointy, twangy fun."

When the students filed into the classroom today, they'd probably notice that their teacher was not the young blonde Japanese woman that normally taught them. In fact, their teacher was a tall, lanky redhead who looked like he could be some kind of Heinz 57 American number, with his hair pulled back in a rat-tail, red tattoos under his violently blue eyes, and a classy suit that was worn in a way that would make any fashion designer break down and weep.

Yo, Rookies! )

[And OCD is up! Operation: Redhead Takeover is a go!]

Anyone entering study hall today without listening to the news might be surprised to see a dog eating a bowl of ice cream.

Let's not ask how Jamie got the bowl of ice cream.

Let's just feel sorry for Jaye later, shall we?
