With Kate off visiting with her friend for tonight, Bod figured he'd probably just spend the last day of the year at the party in town. He didn't even know if he'd stay up until the midnight hour but he'd definitely try.

For now, he was sitting behind the desk and paging through a book and occasionally stopping his reading to check in and shelve books. It was looking to be a quiet day at the library.
