Today the students would find themselves in the Danger Shop instead of the usual classroom: this time in a setting up to look like a house, with comfortable sofas and chairs to sit on in the living room and fully stocked kitchen behind it, and a trap door leading to the basement hiding under the rug.

...didn't everyone have that in their house?

When class began, Anakin came in through the door. "Today we talk about lying. Kant believed that any lie, no matter how small, was a violation of one's dignity. I, personally, am beginning to think that Kant came from a magical bubble land where he'd spent his life swaddled in cotton candy, but some of you might believe he has a point."

Anakin certainly didn't think so, though.

"Depending on how you signed into class--either with a one or a two--depends upon how this scenario will play out for you. If you are a one, this is your house and one of the twos is hiding from the authorities in your basement. In a minute, several armed stormtroopers--think police with absolutely no sense of humor--will be coming to the door. If they find your classmate, they will take them away and kill them. Ones, you have to decide if you will lie and say you have no idea where your classmate is. Twos, your job is to persuade your classmate not to sell you out. If they get caught lying, they'll be killed as well. If they turn you in, it's possible they're receive a monetary reward."

He clapped his hands to begin. "You have three minutes until the authorities arrive."

What a fun exercise for so early in the morning!

"Glad to see you all survived Parent's Weekend," Cindy said. "Considering how stressful dealing with family and friends can be, I've decided to let you guys have an easy week this week."

You all know what that meant, right? Movie day! Complete with coffee, small bowls of buttery popcorn, and those fun little shakers of popcorn flavourings.

"The Battle of Thermopylae is a historical battle, though most of what we know about it comes from the account written by Herodotus. Today, we'll be watching a movie that was more 'inspired by' the legend than actually based upon it. More than anything else, I'd like you to pay attention to the scene in which the last 300 take a stand against the invading army."

Sitting back at her own desk, Cindy grabbed a bowl of popcorn and hit play.

Rinoa was in a wonderful mood today. She was still doing research, but it was geared towards transitioning countries out of occupations and back towards running their own government. She also needed to plan a trip back to Timber, to talk to people and find out who should be in charge of the starting committee.

Not Zone and Watts. They'd be angry at her for saying it, but ... they didn't have the gravitas for this. Maybe she could find something unimportant for them to do, off to the side, that had an important name.

She was also suddenly glad that her father wasn't making any public moves until she had her committee in place.

The library was open, even if its librarian's aide was digging through governmental tomes today.

Today, Tricks, Cons and Bamboozles was being held in a hallway. And not during its usual scheduled time.

The particular location of the hallway might've been the students' first clue to be afraid.

"So we've talked a lot about theory, and done some simulations," Neal said upon the students' arrival. "But today we're going to try a practical application."

Students might hear some faint French-accented speech coming from the room they were standing outside of.

"Anyone here heard of a Professor Madrox?" he asked, conducting a quick poll. "Apparently he's not too popular with the faculty. And I heard from a credible source -- " The squirrels -- "that his class is meeting here today. And they're working on some art today." So maybe the squirrels were a little loose with that word. Still!

"Today's class is on art theft," he said simply. "Go in there and steal as many sculptures as you can. It'll take courage and the spirit of adventure, but I have faith in you guys. Take 'em, hide them, and try to avoid getting caught."

Pause.

"Kenzi, don't touch his wallet." That was Neal's. All Neal's! Muahahaha!

"Alright, go."

[[Le tiniest of OCDs for the sign-in, and then head over here for the theft!]]

When the students entered the danger shop today they would notice that the room had been transformed into an artist's studio. Around the room were various sculptures for everyone to see.

All made of butter.

Additionally there were blocks of butter of various sizes set up around the room as well.

And finally there was Jamie. He was dressed in an artist's smock with a beret and giant fake handlebar mustache glued to his face.

"Hello me petit fleurs!" Jamie exclaimed as the students entered the danger shop. "Today we vill be dooing art! Specifically zee sculptures en beurre! Butter scupltures!!"

He whirled around in a circle gesturing to all the beautiful art around him.

"Grab your tools! Grab some beurre and create... ZEE ART!"

[Be warned... we can expect some visitors today! :D]
