Technically speaking, there wasn't really a need for an election, but the students had put so much effort into their campaigning that it seemed a shame to not put out the ballot box anyway.

If nothing else, it would give Zoe the chance to spend some time outside of her office and really see how the students were doing. If she ended up with some baked goods out of the deal too, that would just be a bonus.

Today, the library appeared to have decided that it had had enough of Wesley's management, because the front desk had various books stacked on it that were not among his favorite topics just now: advice books on father-son relationships, advice books on teaching, advice books on helping others cope with grief.

He dutifully reshelved them to where they were supposed to go, grimacing all the while. Stupid library.

Hercules cracked his knuckles as the class once again gathered outside of the Danger Shop. As was tradition for class time, he was wearing his 'battle-toga' number, just because he really liked the outfit. Once the class had all come together, he clapped his hands together and explained the day's activity.

Apples and Nymphs and Surprises, oh my! )

He grinned, and then opened the door. "Your labor awaits!"

When the students arrived today, they would find images of the same woman in different scenes around the room. Including, unfortunately, one that was sadder than the others.

"We're starting with someone incredibly close to my heart, Joan of Arc," Annja said after everyone had taken their seats. "Jeanne d'Arc, the Maid of Orleans. She's thought to be a national heroine in France, and she was made a saint long after her death. Her friends and allies thought she was spectacular and her enemies thought she was crazy. What did she do that was so against the norm of her time?" Annja looked around her class. "She was a soldier. She led battles against the English in order to put the rightful ruler of France, Charles the Seventh, on the throne. Not only was she a woman, but she claimed divine guidance. She had her first visions at the age of twelve when she saw angels who told her to drive the English out of France. As you can imagine, this cause quite a stir at the time. She was dismissed and called foolish, and yet she continued to petition to be allowed to sit in a council and to lead an army."

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

It was one of those Fridays, it seemed. What with the most intense Student Council race of all time and the club fair happening all at once in one giant distraction. So, really, the movie thing in class should have been expected.

"We're watching Calamity today because Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is a national treasure and there's some fighting. So, its kosher," Deadpool said, struggling with the remote to get rid of the random French subtitles. "So, sit back and enjoy a poorly written movie."

Oz was nowhere in sight when his class arrived. There was however a movie projector with a note attached to it.

Watch the film.

Don't be evil.

I'll know.
