Hook was teaching this class in a normal classroom. He'd save fancy computer/danger shop tricks for later.

When the class had filed in, he twirled the end of his mustache with his hand and grinned.

Shunsui's first order of business for his class was to herd all of those bright-faced and bushy-tailed students into a circle at the center of the classroom. All of the desks had been moved aside, replaced with nice comfortable seating cushions. Shunsui himself settled amidst the students in the circle, as well, gracefully lowering himself despite the two very loaded drink carriers in each of his hands. They were to-go cups from the Perk, and not a drop of them spilled as he sat, and then he started passing them around, one to his left, one to his right.

"Ah, welcome, my new little batch of goslings ♥! Please, take a drink ♥. Some are coffee, some are cocoa, pick based on your tastes, but we are all here to be writers and writers, if they're not smoking or getting drunk, will drink coffee ♥. So help yourself, and we will get started ♥."

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥! )

Shunsui chuckled a little before smiling at his students. "Any questions ♥? I will let you all get to work, then ♥. Enjoy your coffee, your cocoa, and take some time to compose a little story about yourself that involves two truths and lie ♥. Feel free to chat with each other as you work and, toward the end of the class, we'll then share our stories ♥. But remember, your classmates have to guess which is true and which is false, so don't reveal too much as you talk ♥. And if anyone needs a notebook or pen, just let me know ♥."

[[ OCD, it is on the way up, no lying! ]]

Alexander certainly was excited to be working at the library now. Most of his excitement, though, he had to admit, was the fact that it gave him the opportunity to spend most of the day in a place where he could do more research on finding the Land of the Green Isles without feeling like it had been completely wasted. As it was, he'd actually slipped in a little early on his first day, so that he could grab a few books to keep at the desk to look through in between tasks. He knew, since it was his first day, that he wouldn't have the time right away to get them, what with having to learn the ropes.

But once that was taken care of, it was just pouring through a book about explorers who had discovered new lands in between taking care of the tasks that would be expected of him.

This wasn't going to be a bad gig at all.

Just as it would every week, the Danger Shop was set up to look, sound, and feel like the inside of a circus tent today. As students filtered in, they could check out the clowns, get some cotton candy, or just watch out high above them as their teacher was doing some tricks on the trapeze until the bell rang to start class.

Once that happened, Dick called out, "I'll be right there!" and let go of the trapeze at the peak of a swing. He dropped three stories straight down.... into the safety net. Safety first, kids.

Cut for circus! )
