Alexander certainly was excited to be working at the library now. Most of his excitement, though, he had to admit, was the fact that it gave him the opportunity to spend most of the day in a place where he could do more research on finding the Land of the Green Isles without feeling like it had been completely wasted. As it was, he'd actually slipped in a little early on his first day, so that he could grab a few books to keep at the desk to look through in between tasks. He knew, since it was his first day, that he wouldn't have the time right away to get them, what with having to learn the ropes.

But once that was taken care of, it was just pouring through a book about explorers who had discovered new lands in between taking care of the tasks that would be expected of him.

This wasn't going to be a bad gig at all.

The shelves lie in waiting, ready to be modded to your heart's content.

Even for his first day of working here, Alexander has an extensive knowledge of where everything is from his previous times scouring through the shelves far too much.

When she should come into her office, that is. Alexander admitted he was a little curious to meet the new librarian himself, if only to find out what she thought about him checking out all the atlases all the time.

Belle was promptly on time, bustling into the library with a bright, "Good morning!" as she shucked off her cloak to toss it into her office. So far, she'd been having rather good luck with her aides, and she was definitely hoping that trend would continue as she caught a glance of the young man she assumed to be Alexander.

Alexander, who had survived based entirely on his ability to make sure he looked like he hadn't been doing anything amiss when someone showed up, had his book closed and pushed to the side by the time the librarian came through the door, and he smiled, finding her thankfully much less imposing than someone like Manannan. He pushed back the chair at the desk so he could stand, nodding his head.

"Good morning," he greeted back. "You must be our new librarian, is that right?"

Oh, the meta.
