"Congratulations!" Steve said. "You've made it to the end of the semester, and I didn't even have to break out the first aid kit once. You've been a great class, and I really hope you've learned something. If we can get through today, well, you'll be doing really well. So, your final. Since we've been studying cooking for half the semester, you'll be cooking something based on what you've learned this semester. You have a handwavey assortment of basic ingredients to choose from, but there must be cooking involved, not just assembling. Sandwiches or salads with no ingredients you cooked yourselves won't be accepted. That's not to rule out sandwiches or salads, but your contribution had better be something more than frying some bacon if you want to earn full points.

"Once you've presented your creation to me and explained why you chose it, you'll also need to tell me one thing you learned this semester. Then," he gestured to the plate on his desk, "you can have a brownie and go. Your final begins...now."

"Good morning," Fraser said, giving the students a smile. "We've made it to the end of the semester and I've enjoyed every class we've had together. You've all been an accepting and energetic class and I thank you for making our time together fun."

But, that wasn't it. Of course not.

"We do have the little matter of the final, though. It's fairly easy and involves nothing written. Basically, your task is going to be choosing one of the activities we've done in class and completing it without instruction. That means you'll have to equip yourselves properly - and yes, that is mandatory - before choosing a proper setting for the activity and completing said activity satisfactorily. Take some time to go back over any notes and chat with your classmates before each of you step up to the controls to pick your simulation and get started."

With that, Fraser stepped back and let the students being their finals.

"Welcome to our last class together," Ghanima said once everyone had arrived. "Now it's time to see what you have learned."

“By telling us something you shouldn’t do in a fight,” Deadpool added. “Either on a piece of paper if you’re a giant wimp like that Alexander kid over there--yeah, you!--or through interpretive dance.”

A beat.

“I prefer the dancing.”

"We would also accept performance poetry, or simply a speech," Ghanima replied, utterly deadpan. A semester of teaching with Wade had left her harder to shock than usual. "You have fifteen minutes to either come up with something, or find a partner and pray that two heads are better than one."

"Today is your exam," Kerrigan said. They were seated in an ordinary classroom, with ordinary tables and chairs. At the front of the class she stood, looking strong and stoic and perfectly willing to wring a few necks if she had to. "You have the full period to finish it. If you finish early, stay seated until I tell you you can go."

No freebies, kids.

"If you attempt to cheat, I will know. If you attempt to cheat off someone, I will know. If you drift off, I will know, and in all of these cases, I will nail you to the side of the dorms in front of all of your peers."

Don't think she wouldn't. She'd done it twice just when she was human.

"Emma, hand out the exams. Class, sit down, write, and don't think too loud."

Well, you had your orders.
