When the students walked in today, they would see every piece of furniture in the room covered in bubble wrap, including their desks and chairs, Jim's desk and chair, the TV, and the dry erase board.

"Well, I had some bubble wrap left over from the staff meeting a couple weeks ago, and I do have a class the day after April Fool's...." Jim made a face at the camera.

Dan came into the library with a huge cup of coffee and his laptop today. He knew he should have been working on his writing but sometimes you need to sit back and argue with people on the internet. It was soothing.

Newspaper Meeting, Friday after classes, Journalism room [4/2]

Hoshi brought in homemade Peepshi today, plus some strawberry daifuku in case anyone didn't like Peeps.

"Obviously, last week's meeting wasn't exactly productive, considering that the fog and the monsters made it tough to actually get here," said Hoshi. "So it's time to figure out what we're all going to be writing about next week. And just as a head's up, we have about 3 issues left before graduation by my count. So if there's anything you've been waiting to write about, now's the time."

Which brought her attention back to the collection of envelopes from colleges that she'd put off opening. And she still wasn't ready to open them, so she bit into one of the marshmallow Peeps.

The students had been handwavily notified to come to the Danger Shop today, and when they did, they would find themselves facing a long row of training dummies.

"It is rare to meet a criminal who is actually willing to be arrested and comes along peacefully," Ziva said. "Sometimes, a small amount of force is necessary in order to take a person into custody - the keyword being small." Using one of the training dummies, Ziva showed the students the pressure points that would incapacitate someone, but not cause them any permanent damage.

"Now, I would like you all to try hitting these dummies in the places I showed you. If you hit the right spot, the area will make a dinging noise and turn green. If you hit a bad spot that would genuinely harm someone, the area will buzz and turn red. Are there any questions?"

Student Council, Friday [during lunch]

"So, uh, we've got to put the finishing details on prom," Sam said, once everyone had arrived and settled in with their pizza. "And by finishing details, I mean we have to pick a theme and figure out what kind of decorations we want. Oh, and we need to decide who's going to sell tickets when. So, does anyone have any ideas?" Good ones, preferably, although he'd take terrible ones too, if it gave them all something from which to work.

Because luck was on his side this week, Ronon had managed to return to his human form just in time for study hall.

He was mainly happy to be back to eating giant slabs of meat.
