"So, uh, we've got to put the finishing details on prom," Sam said, once everyone had arrived and settled in with their pizza. "And by finishing details, I mean we have to pick a theme and figure out what kind of decorations we want. Oh, and we need to decide who's going to sell tickets when. So, does anyone have any ideas?" Good ones, preferably, although he'd take terrible ones too, if it gave them all something from which to work.

Don't make Sam eat all the pizza himself, that wouldn't be pretty.

Ender was happy to help Sam out by eating some of the pizza. More than.

Prom themes! And anything else Sam might have missed!

"Is th'goal of Prom t'find a lass or a lad so yer not alone?" George asked. "Like th'Valentine's Dance?"

The question was important. It made a difference which theme to suggest.

"Pretty much, yeah," Sam said. "It's not as much about finding someone to be with, but it's the last dance of the school year, so people find dates and get all dressed up. You can come if you're alone, but it's not as much fun."

"No, the goal of Prom is for girls to slut up and drool over dudes in suits." Barney liked his version way better than Sam's.

"I think you might want to be careful about talking about students 'slutting up'," Jennifer said. "That's a harassment suit waiting to happen.

"What about..." Jenny cast about for the most ridiculous thing she could think of for a prom theme (besides skeletons), because she was Jenny, rejected that, and came out with the second most ridiculous idea she could come up with. "What about lemurs?" A beat. "As a theme, not...in general. I suppose it could be expanded to 'the rainforest' if we have to be dreadfully bourgeois."

"Do you mean with, like, real animals?" Sam asked. Maybe he could delegate cleaning up after them to other people.

"If you like," Jenny said. "But I'm definitely not cleaning up after them."

No, Dean Stinson never gets less funny.

Dean Stinson and his views on the appropriate attire for Prom were both in attendance for the meeting. They'd brought their own beverage, thanks.
